- At the age of 48, Philip Hewat-Jaboor moved away from London to the Island of Jersey. He inherited a stone cottage built in the 1970s there. Over the past 20 years, he gradually transformed the old cottage into the so-called "paradise" in local people's eyes. Philip joined the world's top auction house Sotheby's in the 1970s, and is now a renowned collector worldwide. Now he is also the chairman of Masterpiece Fair.His home is like a museum. Obsessed with antiques, he like exploring the history, stories and culture behind them. He said studying old objects brings him pleasure and romance which are hard to put into words.
