She didn’t say prayer service. She said prayer circle. Prayer circles is witchcraft ritual to summon up spirits to curse someone. Most people in prison practice witchcraft. That’s why they’re in prison, they believed the spirits would protect them from getting caught. .... They see someone doing a prayer circle, and then they have an accident, they’re going to believe the circle ritual was against them, and retaliate.

Your stories are made far more interesting because your prison sentence was so long. I spent 20 years in prison.....teaching :) You talk about your son and mother often. As someone with a front row seat...I witnessed the incredible affect that just ONE person could have on someone's attitude and outlook on their future. Especially with those facing really long sentences. I don't know if you could do it, but I would really like to hear you talk about your relationship with your son and your mother and to what extent it got you through 10 really long years.... Brad

I would go crazy. So much to remember. I’m sorry you went to prison but I am grateful for this information. I’m a sober alcoholic and if I drink again I will for sure get into a mess. You are helping me stay sober. I’m 55 but this sh💛t is ageless.
Most COs will have some conversations like that with inmates not get extremely personal but were all people whether a inmate or a CO. Only the really petty ones who try to be "super cops" that write tickets for everything would be and are that petty. Its best to treat inmates like people and earns the most respect because way to many COs treat them like dirt.
The more I listen to Jen and other RUclipsrs like her, the more I think of a pig-cop stereotype of a C.O. with absolutely ZERO sense of humour, no life, and little emotion. He flatly, gruffly speaks with belligerently short and to-the-point sentences or even single words. He's a bigger fella with a buzz-cut head. He sees what we who have never been in trouble before see as innocuous and unworthy of much thought as a "security breeeeeeach." or "infraction." and always refers to inmates as 'animals' or [insert objectifying and dehumanizing non-racial epithet here]. VERY quick to restrain to within the limit of what he can at any given moment for the tiniest infraction or indiscretion... like the creepiest, bleakest, scariest C.O. you can think of who will make a prison stay feel like a dystopian sci fi totalitarian shithole penal colony. .... I should write a character like this for a cyberpunk story, actually.... That's a good idea.... a deliberately hateable corporate prison guard who gives the anti-heroine of the story a hard time and makes her life a living hell until she gets out and gets even with the megacorp who owned the prison she was locked up in... I treat with them with respect and dignity and most times get nothing but respect back. When they get out the ones that will i want them to remember me as someone positive who treated them fairly and with some understanding. I take alot of pride in my job for those reasons alone. Plus i guess knowing people you care about that are locked up gives you a whole different perspective as a CO. We are not all like that. Yes, you are not wrong, they are on BS power trips when they enforce these rules… And to be fair, more often than not, they won’t enforce these. But it’s also not so uncommon that I didn’t want to tell you guys because I would say that to be completely realistic, one out of every four officers enforces at least two of these… So it’s worth saying but to be fair it’s also not every single one that does this.
The officers are not on a power trip, they don't make the rules, policies, or laws in the prisons, they simple enforce them. That being said, the power trip comes in on how the enforce those rules. Officers have descension on how to discipline the inmates. I was an officer/sergeant for 20 years in Arizona DOC, I told the inmates I don't write tickets I report behavior. I never argued with an inmate I gave them their say and made a decision based on what I or other staff observed. Whatever happened after that was up to the inmate, most of the time they chilled out and went about their day. More inmates talk themselves into tickets because they want to flex in front of their boys. Writing an inmate a ticket isn't "punishment" all tickets are referred to the discipline coordinator for a hearing. If found guilty they inmate can appeal the verdict and or punishment all the way to central office. Inmate rules for other inmates are way stricter than official policy and the punishment can be deadly. Prisons are full of violent people who don't give a damn about anyone or anything.
@BruceCinader, we are not on a power trip, they are free to stop committing crime and by doing so they will avoid prison. If they dont like the rules they do not have to come to jail, but while they are there compliance is highly recommended and enforced by officers who are not undue

WHENEVER the whole class would do something "bad" (like laugh at something funny), I would AUTOMATICALLY get the blame. no matter what. why? because i was the alleged "ring leader" (whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean). if 2 kids would have a fight at recess, that was me too. even if i was nowhere near it at the time. i remember one time in particular, i was in 7th grade, 2 kids from 5th grade start having a fight 100 yards away from where i was standing minding my own business. i see it and announce "fight-fight". idiot teacher "brother christopher" breaks up the fight, points his idiot finger at me, "you, go to the office" "but brother, i wasn't fighting with anyone, i don't even know these kids!!" "you were yelling fight-fight" (holy shit! this imbecile apparently thought i had the magical ability to point at 2 kids, 100 yards away and yell "fight" AND THEY WOULD HAVE A FIGHT through no fault of their own!)
Men grow or shave off beards in prison, which is VERY altering of their appearance and the only thing that happens is they have to have a different picture taken of them.

Generally, more than five usually somewhere between seven and 10 minimum.. and it’s more so because of the fact that after such a lengthy period of time, you have learned how to move about in a way that is discrete, elusive, manipulative, and you have the keen ability to finesse your way out of problematic situations or be very Eito when doing illegal activities… That’s not something you can learn in just a few years and so the ones with last time come in a little more rebellious, defiant, and wild, as opposed to the inmates who have been there for a longer amount of time who have learned how to navigate the system in a way where they can do what they want without drawing attention to themselves or the area/group that they’re in. So even though the amount of time is a key factor, it’s mainly because of the time it takes to learn how to move about the prison without drawing attention. Generally, that would take a minimum of five years most of the time it’s around 10 and up..

Our county jail is a joke its literally an adult daycare...i rode a boat down the stairs and the co just said pls wait until I turn around and we knew the co's kids names what kind of pets they had and were friends on fb with them... they weren't assholes and we even had one who would bring us in new razors and snacks...
Such BS rules usually come from real incidents. So, every time someone has to go through such stupidity, they can thank it to some bright person that was previously locked up and done something stupid. And the same applies to a lot of places, not just prisons.

Aussie Prisons are hotels. They eat better than I do. Taking their meals to them I’d be thinking oh I wish I could afford chicken breast. The prisoners always asked if I’d go get then McDonald’s 😂. Nah wasn’t allowed but I would have. I took the mindset of not my place to judge their crime. Except a PDF. 😡

Yes, I am speaking of Florida state female prison. I say in many of my videos that I was in a Florida State female prison, and my experience is solely based on that. I would hope, and I know you know because you said it, but I would honestly hope that everyone who Watches any person who talks about an experience would understand that their experience is based solely on what they went through andnot as a whole… particularly anyone who watches prison content. I could understand may be misinterpreting the difference between prison and jail, and possibly even feds and state, even though I have a video on this as well… But I think most of the people that watch me. At least, for the most part, understand that I am speaking solely about the prison that I was at. I would have no other way to know, what goes on anywhere else.

Wow I really hate to hear that you spent so much time in prison, you don’t look like you are old enough for juvenile jail, let alone stake penitentiary! In fact, you are just about the prettiest girl I have ever seen! No, I’m positive that you are the prettiest, most attractive woman I’ve ever seen, it’s hard to believe you have been a felon! 🇦🇺🦘🦘💕Have just found your channel. I’m intrigued. I worked as security in a court and in remand looking after prisoners up for appearance or those remanded in custody post their hearing / trial. Aussie Prisons are hotels. They eat better than I do. Taking their meals to them I’d be thinking oh I wish I could afford chicken breast. The prisoners always asked if I’d go get then McDonald’s 😂. Nah wasn’t allowed but I would have. I took the mindset of not my place to judge their crime. Except a PDF. 😡

you're speaking of ONE state, Tatoos almost never result in any action at all in Fed prisons and a buddy who did 24 years in CO state prisons said it doesn't happen there, either.
Yes, I am speaking of Florida state female prison. I say in many of my videos that I was in a Florida State female prison, and my experience is solely based on that. I would hope, and I know you know because you said it, but I would honestly hope that everyone who Watches any person who talks about an experience would understand that their experience is based solely on what they went through andnot as a whole… particularly anyone who watches prison content. I could understand may be misinterpreting the difference between prison and jail, and possibly even feds and state, even though I have a video on this as well… But I think most of the people that watch me. At least, for the most part, understand that I am speaking solely about the prison that I was at. I would have no other way to know, what goes on anywhere else.
