I cast once, happened to be 1250somethin pm.. he followed right up to the edge and I couldn't stop reeling because I'm dumb and he basically hopped out of the water at me and I couldn't just drop line and catch it right there. Tried casting again but it was 101p caught a pike, tried again thinking maybe I'd be lucky for some reason, caught a pickerel if I recall correctly. Skipped to midnight which happened to be the lowest point of the night. Cast where you said ( I immediately paused video as you were casting in the spot) and the first cast it shit whipped about halfway back to me (a little out past the trees) and I struck early reeling in. Cast a second time and it struck right around treeline again.. caught it after a decent little fight.. had to turn my reel drag down and it was all good
i don't remember so many people asked me what gear am i using and i just don't remember i think i would record this again with my other account just to show the gear that I'm using as i really can't remember sorry..
I'm not sure bro I cant remember from what I see it looks like value spin😅 but this dendrofin grows to around 15 lb (7kg) so you can land it pretty much with any spinning rod ;)
I didn’t have any issues with it, it’s pretty straight forward, however I noticed from people comments about monster fish not only this one but in general, some people follow the steps and they got it straight a way and some people really have hard time catching monster fish, even if they follow everything step by step. I would just leave and try again if you can afford that, if not just fish in peak hours and use the marker from the video, and don’t wait to long before forwarding the time, it should spawn and take within minutes if the conditions are right. Collect the tree bark again and see if that works, some missions can be repeated but not all of them, I lost my lure from saint croix and never caught that monster fish so yeah it kinda sucks 🤷♂️🐠

@@ZinkFN ohh no🤦♂ sorry to hear that. its all about the setup that you use, stronger setup (rod,reel,line) will get the job done within minutes but bro that's a monster fish and you can only catch one on every fishery so don't worry if it's taking bit longer to land him, you will never catch him again!
@@B3GameBox My point is that no matter with what kind of fishing rod, whether it is the first or the thirtieth day, at the given hours, the type of metal guiding, nothing takes anything but pikes. Sometimes there is only a slight hit on the bait where it is not even possible to hook. and silence
it might be retrieving speed and you are to slow or to fast, try adjusting speed on your reel when retrieving your lure, I didn't notice it but it might be the case, pike go after fast moving lures and catfish on the other hand go after super slow so my guess is that you are to fast and you should try retrieve your lure slower, but its only a guess as I said I never really paid attention to this monster fish as it was always easy to catch. i use valuespin 260 and calisto mg 3000, and i use fluoro 0.3 mm to catch dendrofin

Line > Rod > Reel if you want to keep max drag without breaking the line like in this video
