Credit to Dr Wolff for mentioning Mondragon Corporation in one of his online discussions. It was founded in 1956 and in 2015 had a revenue of 12 billion Euros. It is the only successful example of a Worker 'owned' enterprise that I am familiar with and it is based in the, what used to be, rebellious Basque region of Spain. Question, as staunch socialist countries, do Russia or China have any 'worker owned' enterprises based on the Mondragon model? If not, why not?
