I have done voluntary work for 4 years for "care for Calais" I have spent months with Refugees and can categorically state that these poor unfortunate people DO NOT EVER PAY £5,000 for passage on the small boats. Where would people living under plastic sheets amongst filth and squalor get that kind of money ? They pay what they can afford or become endebted to the traffickers. Why are people so eager to believe the total tripe fed to them by (Sources)

I was in my local little co op yesterday and a young girl was alone on the tills. A guy filled a basket and walked out, the girl was scared as didnt know what to do. I chased after him to give him a piece of my mind. Im struggling to pay my bills but dont steal. This guy went to hit me and my fella got out the car so the thief dropped and ran. It was bottles of alcohol and meat. The girl no longer works in the shop, its a shame as she was sweet. Ive got a mouth on me and if i see something i say something, i need more of you to help.

I worked in a shop opposite Leigh police station .
One day 2 cars stopped in the middle of the road ( blocking it ) and a heated exchange took place . This went on for about 1 minute before turning physical. The 2 men threw punches and wrestled back and forth and eventually ended up on the police carpark rolling around on the floor .
They both eventually tired and slowed, each backing to their vehicle throwing insults as they did so. All the while cars were beeping their horns and traffic stood still .
Not 1 police officer came out of the station and this was back when it actually had police inside.
This was the moment i gave up on the police. This exact " why bother " moment made me realise we aren't protected by the laws deterrent or consequences , we simply live hoping we're not next ...that we're left alone from evil.

Plenty of people who are more than happy to blame admin staff who earn 1p over minimum wage for the state of the NHS and high taxation but will clap and fight hard for nurses who earn twice as much .'Too many bureaucrats' 'too much paperwork' etc etc as per the approved Tory propaganda and they are quite happy to have a go at poorly paid receptionists when their appointments get cancelled because there arent enough doctors. It's all about power.

Also NHS administration staff have to do the private administration. Unlike the Dr's administration staff don't get paid extra for doing it. Private cases often use the same diagnostic equipment that is owned by the NHS. In other words, it's socialising the costs and privatising the profit.

It also depends on what questions were asked and how the answers were interpreted. My son answered a survey that asked how important he felt certain issues were. Two of the issues were small boats and COVID. He ticked "important" for the first, "unimportant" for the second. However there was no follow-up as to WHY he thought the boats were an issue (because he didn't want people to drown; he is opposed to the Rwanda scheme) or COVID wasn't (because the deadly pandemic phase has passed so it is no longer a major problem in his perception). I think he did add some footnotes in the free text box at the end but suspect the nature of such surveys doesn't allow for that kind of nuance.

I don't think it's anything new to your experience on this bus 🚌 route, James.
    I digress,
Back in 1976 I was a London Bus 🚌 Driver in Chalk Farm,
I drove to the 24 bus route,
An incident occurred one evening Near the Roundhouse Camden Town,
The bus in front of me sounded its attack alarm,
I stopped my bus and went to investigate, I found a group of about 5 teenagers causing mayhem harassment of the bus conductor we had them back then that's how I am 😅
I asked them to leave and they then started on me ,
The bus stop was just outside of the convenience store,
They picked up empty bottles of crates outside,
I was 30 years old at the time, I could handle myself
I picked up an empty crate to defend myself I hit one of these young people,
The police eventually turned up on known to me these teenage boys were under 16 ,15, I believe the police informed me .
I was informed I could be charged with assault , they will have to report me ,
London Transport then put me on notice that I have to go for a disciplinary meeting in Baker St Head office for London Transport,
    Black then I digress again,
The police never changed any of those youths,.
