    You have the best detail video for a motorcycle to go kart conversion, as for the sprockets how do you figure out what to order. I have a Honda cb650 that I’m looking to do the same with.

    Why do u need a jack shaft? Could u move the sprocket inline with the motor and not use the shaft system??
    Im new to all this, there is probably a good reason

      You have the abilities of adding adjustment when you use a jack shaft bro in my opinion it's a better choice and looks cool too imo

      The sprocket on the original buggy axle has a welded on bracket, I wasn't able to move it without more modification. I also was not able to make the chain from the motorcycle go straight down to the axle. So basically the jackshaft helped twice.

    I was going to ask do you have a link for the sprockets an was the shaft order online! Thanks ks

      @mr.b1259  5 лет назад

      No I dont have any links.... the sprockets were meant for another application, but I modified them to fit on a 1" shaft. The jackshaft is just a piece of 1" solid stock.

    • @mr.b1259

      530 chain. The jackshaft has a 16 tooth from the motor and a 12 tooth going to the axle. Stock sprockets on the motor and axle.
