Construction Simulator 4 Switch Review

It’s not a secret that I am a bit of a simulation game fan. Whether it be power washing, farming, or even lawn mowing, I tend to get so absorbed into a slower burn of a game that promises to help me build a business from the ground up while performing even the most menial of tasks that make me groan with discontent in the real world. That being said, I can’t say I’ve ever been asked to build a log cabin or repair potholes in my life so I’m not sure how tedious that may be. Construction Simulator 4 give gamers the chance to find out and promises to bring the Canadian Construction scene to life with a multitude of construction options. What’s it Like? Put on the high vis, lace up those steel caps, and is it smoko already? as we review Construction Simulator 4 on Nintendo Switch.

Nice review. I'm a fan of this series, having played the previous game on Switch. That said, I would caution users to wait on this because of a game breaking bug that has completely ruined my current save. I put about 30 hours into the game and was really enjoying it. The game *did* occasionally force close on me, but restarting always let me pick up near where I'd left off, so I kept playing. Until the last time it happened. Now my game won't load. Any time I open up the game and try to load my save, I end up on an eternal loading screen. I've allowed my Switch to sit for 20 minutes on that screen, but my save simply will not load.
This is disheartening. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but nothing seems to work. I could start a whole new save, as frustrating as that would be, but I'm afraid of doing that only to have the same bug occur. I'd hoped the recent update would fix the issue, but nope. Still bugged. There aren't a lot of people talking about this game yet, but I have read about at least one other person stuck in the same boat, so it's unfortunately not just me.
When it's working, the game *is* pretty chill and fun. Just be aware there is the potential to run into this game breaking bug. For that reason, people may want to avoid CS4 unless/until this issue is patched.

I use a NitroDeck for handheld, and pro controller for docked!
