John Hazlett 21 7 1981

On 21 July in 1981 IRA terrorists murdered John Hazlett, Presbyterian, 43, building worker, married father of 2, shot with an Armalite rifle, at 10am, as he renovated a shop at Bank Square, Maghera, Co Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Murderers arrived in a blue pick up truck stolen in the village of Swatragh, a few miles away and fled down Meetinghouse Avenue, after murdering Mr Hazlett.
