Yanking and pulling the ball left may be controlled by not turning the head too far left in the downswing. The direction of the head turn during the downswing can be monitored by using how the left ear is pointing through the downswing. If the left ear turns to point too far left during the downswing, pulls to the left are promoted. Ears are employed to detect the directions of sounds, so the ear can be effectively used to monitor the direction of the head turn.
I subscribed in either 2017 or 2018 when your video playing at the Jamaican Open was recommended to me. It’s great to see how far you have come from those days and I wish nothing but the best 👍
I subscribed last fall. I love watching all things golf on RUclips and saw your video in the "up next". Really enjoy the content! The big selling point for me was that you play Taylormade! I love watching the videos and having that little thing in common. Keep up the great work!
I restarted playing golf after 7-8 yrs life sabbatical (work/kids) last end of summer. The guy I was playing with suggested RUclips and after a month I stumbled onto you channel. Thanks for the content. I'm always shocked when I realize you don't have many subs. Your channel is one of my favorites so keep grinding. This time next year you'll be at 100k
Awesome vid! I’ve been a subscriber for over 6 months now. I started following you to learn how to play. Some of my favorite videos are your drills, mainly chipping and putting.
I subscribed a few months ago and I've seen every video since... my favorites are the tournament videos..not alot of RUclips channels are playing in pro events so its nice to get an inside the ropes perspective. Keep doing what you're doing and keep grinding. 💪
I subbed around a year ago! I got hooked watching your tournament prep and getting an insight into how you approach practice! I’ve always found your honesty really refreshing!
I subbed late 2018 after following GM for a month then. Was awesome to see you, them and Radford collab a few times early on. I love how much the channel has grown with tons of useful vids and I'm always amazed at how effortlessly you shoot even par. Keep grinding!
I subscribed a little over two years ago. I'm a 2 handicap, constantly trying to get better. I love getting inside the minds of good golfers so I can try and see what I can take and use in my game to improve. Love your videos.
Just scrolled back through the old videos to see how long it’s been. I remember videos from 3 years ago, the first vlog video, but I was inspired by your battle with mental health and how you’ve managed that part. Also you got me to read Zen Golf which completely changed how I approached the game. Thanks for all the content. 👍🏼
Think I joined around 3 or so years ago when you talked about Be a Player book and talking about your mental health struggles. You are real and tell it the way it is. Which is why I stick around. Thanks man. Keep it up.
I watch a ton of different channels and one of your videos popped up probably 3 or 4 months ago and have been watching every since. I have went back and watched some of your older videos where you talk about your struggles in life and trying to break through as a pro golfer. It’s very inspirational, so thanks for telling your story! I’m a bogey golfer who is just trying to get better and you definitely help. So thanks and good luck.
One of my biggest takeaways from this is pacing off putts. I can believe I’ve never heard that before. I’ve never done it before but it makes so much sense! Great advice.
I subscribed about two years ago. Started watching your Q School/mini tour videos and I thought it was really cool to see videos from someone who’s in your position. It was a great perspective of how a pro golfer thinks and plays. Keep up the good work man I love the channel.
I started watching your channel in October of 2019. The first video I watched was the head to head match against a 16 year old. This was a time where I started to enjoy golf, and I felt like coming to your channel and watching your videos helped to keep me interested in golf and learn a lot more.
Hey Andrew. Been subscribed to the channel since about Oct of 2017 when you did the video about equipment sponsorship and then I went down a rabbit hole of your videos about mini tour golf and I loved how raw and honest you show the life of a tour pro on the smaller stage. Been watching almost 3 years now. Keep up the great content. I remember when you hit 5K subscribers so really cool to see you hit 25k.
I subscribed about a year ago when I was really getting into competing in golf and doing things in golf and I found your channel. It was perfect for me to watch someone who was fun to watch and also really good at the game so I could see what stuff I needed to work on for my possible career in golf. Also I could learn something from most all of your videos which made it even better to watch. Thanks for the great content and keep it up!!!
i think that i subscribed to your channel after seeing your spider vs spider x video. i was debating whether or not to upgrade just as you were. i went back and watched a lot of your old videos. what really caught my attention were the videos you had made regarding mental health. i struggle with some of the same issues and illness and really enjoyed being able to relate to another golfer with similar experiences. we’re all very glad you’re still here andrew. congrats on 25k!
I subscribed here recently but I've known about you for a while. I went on a binge here recently watching a lot of your recent to older videos. I love just getting a pro's perspective on everything as my swing is good, I just need to learn how to play the course and how to control my head out on the course too
Joined late January after watching some content from the PGA show trip. Enjoy hearing you break down your thought process on each of these holes and how you attack each and every one. Learning a lot from watching you swing the stick, and thoroughly enjoy the content you have been creating. Good luck to you for the rest of the year in future events.
I think I joined the channel during quarantine, I remember subscribing after watching some pro vs junior game, those are my favorites because of how good the kids are, it really amazes me. Keep the work up and regards from Madrid, Spain!
I started watching your videos about 2 weeks ago. Your 3 person horse match come up on my Playlist started watching it. I have been watching your videos ever since.
I joined about a year ago after watching your collabs with gm golf and instantly fell in love with your golf swing and wanted to learn more, as I am a junior golfer.
Fun hearing you talk about course management, Andrew. I subscribed maybe about 6 months ago after I saw you collab with Zac Radford and GM Golf. I enjoy your voice, your attitude, and your Canadian-ness. Thanks for the great content! Looking forward to seeing your channel grow.
I remember seeing the parsaver video and thinking about how much that could help my game, watching some of your other videos and then implementing those strategies into my game. the mental sign has definitely been a lot better since watching your videos, and I bought a spider because of the one video watching you putt. Keep up the great work!
I subscribed about 4 months ago I really started watching the pro vs. junior videos. I’m a teenager and it’s cool to see someone my age play a pro and keep up. I have also watched the way you play and tried to learn and me being a mid handicap I have been able to shoot some better scores. I love training videos like this one so I can hopefully get to that next level in my game! Love the videos keep up the good work congrats on 25k I’ll be here for 100k!
Congrats on 25K! Your videos are always entertaining, insightful, and well done. I subscribed back in February 2020 (simpler times back then) when you did a couple of videos with Zac. Thanks as always Andrew!!
Don't exactly remember when I started watching your content, but I subscribed about two years ago when I first saw your video on what mini tour golf costs. Also greetings all the way from Hong Kong! Keep up the good work
Joined when you were at 2k subs after finding your Q&A videos about life on the mini tours. This was probably 1-2 years ago. Loved seeing your growth, especially in these past few months. Looking forward to what’s to come!
I joined during the beginning of the quarantine.. and you answered a lot of my questions when it comes to different paths to take to get on to the tour... I have a group of juniors at first tee Atlanta and I teach them the things you touch on in your videos and it helps them get a better picture
Hey Andrew, thanks to you and your sponsors for putting together this package. I think I subscribed way back when you were primarily focused on tournament play. I think it was a video about what it costs to play a season a tour that got me watching. Tbf I find this segment of golfers so much more fun to watch: not guys that have made it (yet), but have that sheer will power to grind, improve, learn while still playing incredible golf against super deep fields. Anyway keep it up, I really enjoy your style and attitude.
I started playing golf around 2 months ago when it warmed up. Thought it would be nice to start golf now since we have to social distance lol. But ever since then I’ve been watching tons of golf videos including yours!
Definitely remember it was May of 2018. Had the worst injury a golfer could have (broken back) and watched a lot of RUclips as a golf fan. Thanks Andrew for the great company and content since then. Favorite video has to be the 2 week vlog when you and Ben played some tour events up in Canada⛳👍
My first video I watched was my story, was going through a tough time and watching golf videos gave me an escape so it was something I could relate to. Keep up the good work
I subbed when you had around 5,000 subs. I loved the content that you were making and as a tournament player myself it gave me inspiration to keep on grinding on my own game
I joined this channel right after your first break 60 video. After watching I subscribed because I knew there would be a lot to learn and gain from this channel. Since then I’ve been hooked.
Man I really love this channel for a particular reason. I watch a lot of golf vlogs but I joined this one around New Years bc I wanted to get back to the game I loved. I committed a certain amount of days each week to practice and then play. Listening to your past videos about successes and failures made you so relatable and helped me manage some of my own expectations when things didn’t go well. Shot my first under par in a decade a few weeks ago, which I also left a comment thanking you lol. Love your videos and how you do them. Prizes are cool but you still should know what you’re really doing for ppl. Thanks again Andrew. Appreciate ya.
Hey Andrew! I recently subscribed to your channel after watching your “59 Watch” video. I have been playing golf for 20 years and I’ve been stuck around a 9 handicap. After watching you shoot a 61 and making it look smooth and easy - I was inspired! I went recently out and shot a 76 by just following your tempo and demeanor around the course. I’m looking forward to learning more from you and taking my game to the next level. Thank you! Victor
Hi Andrew, I think I subscribed 18 months ago and never miss a video! Your attitude is your best asset and really gives me encouragement when I see your perseverance. Keep it going !!!
From what I remember, 'Cost of a Tour Pro' was my first video that I remember watching on this channel. I remember thinking of making a career change, and that video was a big eye opener for someone who doesn't always break 80. Thankfully, I stuck with my day job.
Found your video explaining how difficult it was to break even at a mini tour event at Tarandowah. Couldn't imagine putting under that pressure! Very much enjoyed your vlog at HG&CC as well. Bucket list course. All the best.
Watched a few of your vids after your collab with GM a while back, but just subbed officially now that I'm trying to take my game to the next level and think your channel will help.
The first video I ever watched of yours was the long drive challenge with gm golf with old clubs, I subscribed after I saw the video and have watched since.
I joined about a year ago when you did some collabs with GM golf and Zac Radford. Love the content and your course management vids. Keep up the great work!
I subscribed to you about almost a year ago I think when I saw you were on a video with bryanbrosgolf on their channel. I loved watching their channel because that was the time I started playing and getting into golf and I also had seen you on gm golfs channel. I subscribed to you and I’m pretty sure I’ve watched every single one of your videos since! Especially me at the time just getting into golf it helped me a lot I really learned a lot from your videos and I definitely still think I am. Thank you man! 100k is on the way!
Been following you for a decent time now and honestly there’s only 3 channels I really watch now and that’s you gm_golf and radford. Can’t wait til Ireland my guy!
Started watching at the start of the lockdown. Always played as much as I could and had to replace it when the golf clubs closed. I love the way you edit the videos and the quality is fantastic. Also love hearing the insight to every shot. Keep up the great work
I joined 8 months ago, the first video I watched was titled “the future of this channel” and love your insights into playing and practicing. Keep it up 👍
I began watching back in March. Started with an old what’s in the bag video that popped up because I am a fan of TaylorMade clubs. Have watched a lot of your videos and really appreciate the insight you have given on practice and course management.
I can honestly say I can't remember when I subbed, it's been that long, been a fan for a long time and good to see a good olde Canadian boy doing well on the tube!
I subscribed a couple of months ago when the 18 birdies 18 holes video came out. All your videos are super entertaining and hope the channel continues to grow
Subscribed just over a year go about 6 months into my first year of golf. I use to watch 4 hours of golf RUclips a day and 10 different channels and now I have a 3 channel shortlist where I watch every video or try to and yours is certainly one of the 3. Videos like this have helped my golf game but in all honesty all of your videos help my game.
I started watching during quarantine and subscribed a couple weeks ago. Been trying to get out and play more so started watching videos like yours to try to improve!
I think I'm one of the relatively newer subscribers. I started subscribing when you and Zac Radford collabed. I was watching his videos and instantly joined and started following you on Instagram right away. Very glad I came across you and Zac for that matter. Wishing you the best in your new comps. Happy belated Canada Day and sick gear in the video as well!
I joined maybe 6-8 months ago. I couldn’t tell you the exact video but I liked your content. Videos like this and the practicing one have help my game. It’s nice to get a different perspective from a Pro. Thanks Andrew!
I subscribed during quarantine while trying to shoot my first couple rounds under par. I watched your practice routines and drills as well as breaking scoring barrier vids
I subscribed back when you at just around 2000 subscribers. The channel has grown so much and gotten way more professional and fun to watch. Don’t get me wrong I loved the old videos but you progress is amazing and I’m sure I’ll be a subscriber for lots more of the milestones in the future. Great job Andrew!
First subscribed after watching the 9 holes, 9 threes video a little under a year ago, and have been a huge fan ever since. It’s always awesome to try to implement your tips as a way to improve my own game. You often take the place of the golf coach I’ve never had!
Hey Andrew, really can’t remember which video it was when I subscribed but it’s been over 6 months and I enjoy the content you put out. It’s a little different than what other Golf RUclipsrs are doing which keeps me coming back. Thanks
I subbed about 2 ish? years ago. One of your mental health awareness videos came up on recc, and while i absolutely love golf, I think mental health is a huge issue that isn't talked about enough and I loved seeing your take and passion on the topic. Cheers!!!
I think I subscribed a year ago. Was recommended by the RUclips algorithm because I was watching alot of other golf RUclipsrs. Subscribed because I like your professional editing and your take on professional golf. Keep it up!
Keep up the great work man. I subscribed during lockdown here in the UK. Your videos have really helped me with my practice and I also love how grounded you are as a player. You don’t hide your bad holes and discussing where you went wrong and how to improve really helps my thoughts on the course too.
I joined during the beginning of the quarantine.. and you answered a lot of my questions when it comes to different paths to take to get on to the tour
I subscribed actually this week! I was researching how to practice more efficiently and your video popped up. Since then I have watched more videos and really enjoy the content on improving mental awareness etc. also the whoop video was 🔥
I’ve been here since the first cost of being a professional video. That was a while ago. It’s been awesome watching the channel grow with some amazing content.
I’m a new subscriber! First heard of Andrew by watching some of his guest features with Golfholics and others. Came to his page a month or so ago and really enjoyed his content. It’s a good mix of golf vlogs, teaching, lifestyle and his overall goal of helping others resonates with me.
I joined during your first biggish bump from r/golf. Really liked seeing the perspective from someone out there trying to grind their way through the mini-tours 👍
Subscribed since the 2 weeks on tour series with Ben in the summer of 2018. You were playing tournaments close to where I live in Quebec and I really enjoy your content about the journey of a pro golfer because that's what I want to do. You serve as an example for me who is not a top ncaa division 1 golfer but still believe that I can make it work as a pro. Thanks!
I subscribed during quarantine after watching your quest for 59! Went to your channel and watched multiple videos after! Love the videos, keep up the good work!
Found you 7/5/20 while nursing a 4th of July hangover 🍻🇺🇸🍻 I’m a very good golfer trying to get better and shoot in the 60’s more often. I enjoy hearing the thought process of better golfers. Looking forward to your “how I practice” video next on my playlist after I grab another Advil🤣
I’m pretty sure I found your channel through the GM Golf guys over a year or so ago. I believe I found Zac Radford the same way and I love your channels. It’s been a while so I’m not entirely sure but ever since I’ve found your channel, I’ve really enjoyed the content. Keep up the good work!
Another great video and good to learn your thinking as you plot your way round the course. Unfortunate that the weather cut the round short. I could sense your frustration at your 2nd shot into the par 5 but you recovered and got up and down for birdie. Hopefully you will get a couple of really good rounds in soon and get the confidence back up a bit. The new puppy will certainly keep you busy off the course.
THE GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED! CONGRATS TO MASON MOORE ON WINNING!!!!
Thank you!
Hey man, can you email me all your details; Address and shirt size?andrewslongdrive@gmail.com
Did you get my email?

Congrats on the win! Enjoy your prizes!
Congrats dude!!! Lots of stuff for you!
I started watching you whenever I had downtime at work last summer. I finally found you again on my personal account and subscribed last month
I subscribed in either 2017 or 2018 when your video playing at the Jamaican Open was recommended to me. It’s great to see how far you have come from those days and I wish nothing but the best 👍
Thanks Drew, yeah that was December 2017! Would love to go back and play better haha
Subbed a few months ago. I was spending hours a day practicing but wanted better results, and your practice series really helped me out.
That’s amazing to hear, I’m glad it has!!
I subscribed last fall. I love watching all things golf on RUclips and saw your video in the "up next". Really enjoy the content! The big selling point for me was that you play Taylormade! I love watching the videos and having that little thing in common. Keep up the great work!

Hey Andrew! I recently subscribed to your channel after watching your “59 Watch” video. I have been playing golf for 20 years and I’ve been stuck around a 9 handicap. The first video I ever watched of yours was the long drive challenge with gm golf with old clubs, I subscribed after I saw the video and have watched since.
I subscribed a few weeks ago. I have been following golf vlogs for awhile and happy to see a fellow FL golfer that is putting out some good material.
Love that dedication to the videos man, thank you!!
I joined your channel on June 16th. RUclips recommended your lowest round ever, 60 on 6k yd course video. I've been hooked since! Loving your content!
I’ve loved your videos recently. Congrats on passing 25k subs. I joined after watching your match vs a 16yr old.
I actually just found you from your practice video. Love your attitude and relaxed nature while still having fun. Keep up the great work!
Keep it up 👍
Love these types of video’s, especially getting in the mind of a pro and how they operate! Keep killing the game!
Love hearing that man!! Thanks for the constants support 👊🏼
I always recommend your channel to my friends as well nice to support a fellow Canadian but just consistently the best golf content out there
I started watching during quarantine and subscribed a couple weeks ago. Been trying to get out and play more so started watching videos like yours to try to improve!
It's been quite awhile, I remember when you hit 1k subscribers :) I just love the honest talk about golf in every video. Thank you!
Subbed about 8 months ago, after the pro vs junior videos. And now you are one of my go-to golf youtuber.
Subscribed after watching your 2019 Taylormade club fitting. Keep up the good work. Can’t wait to try out some of your tips on the course
Love hearing that Pete
Since then I have watched more videos and really enjoy the content on improving mental awareness etc. also the whoop video was 🔥
Welcome!! Love hear that, and will definitely keep on pumping out the 🔥 for ya
