No offence but you are not a government officer. If you were in ministry of petroleum, you could be called a govt employee. IOCL is a PSU and earn profits. On the other hand, government makes no profit!

It pains to see so much lower tax on govt employees even if no work they do. Here I am working in research center 12-14 hours a day .. and govt deducting 34000/month as Income Tax. Kaam karne wale ki koi izzat nhi is desh me .. planning to move out from this country 😒😒

Having worked in the corporate sector for nearly five years and now in the government sector, I’ve found the workload to be comparable in both. Some departments may have lighter workloads, like certain private companies. It’s a misconception to think that government departments that are critical to national operation such as the CBI, Audit, or Ministries have less work. The notion that government jobs are less demanding is often misguided.
My credit manager is working 10-8 and have to travel atleast 3 hours daily on top of handling household chores like kids food etc and all the while attending calls from customers and zonal offices . And she also pays same income tax as you. Life in govt job is not easy getting any random location far from home and no stability and on top of it work with less resources and infra and getting taunts like only people in private work.

Hello maam, can you please help me deciding whether I should prepare for ssc or not, ? I have applied specifically for research assistant position in NHRC. Since I am law student , and I never prepared for exam which asks me to cover reasoning maths and gs ( gs comes in other exam but aspects are different). I gave last year paper as a mock score only 60. Accuracy was 77% seeing the timing.. I can stretch myself to maximum 100. In a month. Since exam has post wise cut off and this post requires one to be law graduate so do you think I should give it a try. Seeing cutoff trend of ssc in past year... I can't get such marks. I somehow believe that cutoff will be lower from all categories, in post which requires law graduate. That's the only reason I filled form. Paper is offourse easy but timing makes it harder.
You may give Prelims a try but according to me, you should not dedicate your time much to ssc exam. Instead you may go for judiciary exams of your state or apply in any good law firm. I think that would be far better. Rest is ofcourse your choice

So if a person is Staying in Govt quaters then the salary would be -( 75200 - 13860 ) = 61k . Net pay would be 60 K for an ASO in CSS , if we compare it with the SBI PO it is 25000 less salary . So we should try for SBI PO not the CGL ,

Mam how many people are from institutes like nit and iit in your batch ? i am from civil branch i have option for data jobs and the core jobs in college and few companies allow us for the software role as well . After having the first month of placement session i got to know we need to be jugaadu in terms to get a job in college.The companies of non tech basically focus on societies and pors and cgpa plays a major role in these companies. After talking to few people i got to know that yes these companies offer us upto 15 18lpa but the work profile is really hectic . Same is the case with core jobs with less salaries under 10 . Please mam if you can guide me about these non techa nd core jobs . few people say that amount o fthe work done in these is hectic so i am cofused whether to go with this or prepare for the gate na d get any psu and then go with ssc or any highr exam. at first i prepared for the placement non tech and tech but got no interest in those but with bechaal i continues for the preparation now in last yr of college having knowledge of the job roles i dont want to go with these and with this confsuion i am not stessed in a way that i am not focusing on the placement as well as the gate prep. pure wastage of time in stress in previous one month. Now i am clueless what to do (as after seeing friends placed ) what option i can opt? now i want to prep for the govt exams (few topics i covered also)but these these people are distracting . Also i tried to opt for flat so that i can prep free of mind but this hostel life now feels like hell . (my family wants me to have govt job) now i dont know what to do nothing is going right :(. i am direction less now .

Peace toh this time PSU and banks me bhi nhi h, leave corporate. Government jobs are good but do not pay well. But haan, utna hai ki work life balance yha kar paoge compared to other options you mentioned. i have not worked in private but many of my college friends are working in good companies and their life is hectic no doubt. PSUs ka personal experience hai so I can say ki job utni hectic nhi h but shifts hoti hai and off locations posting hoti hai. That’s why I am here. Because delhi me posting and decent salary with peace of mind. I have explained pros and cons, you may choose the best for yourself. All the best ☺️

@@LovelySingh-jk8wu best would be to go for state exams! Ssc cgl jobs are pan india hence getting your hometown is very difficult and depends on the vacancy in your state. You might get GST/income tax etc in Bihar if you have really good rank but not particularly patna.

@@nileshlakra9670 yes, you can clear the exam given the condition that your preparation and strategy is right and you are consistent throughout the preparation period. Also bank and ssc have same exam pattern and syllabus so it won’t be difficult.

@@zaidmehta5063 result will come in 1-1.5 months toh MEA mila toh 2-2.5 months from mains exam joining mil jaegi. Jaldi bhi ho skta hai process. CSS me bhi 2.5-3 months. Baaki or posts ke liye time lag sakta h

Hello maam, can you please help me deciding whether I should prepare for ssc or not, ? I have applied specifically for research assistant position in NHRC. Since I am law student , and I never prepared for exam which asks me to cover reasoning maths and gs ( gs comes in other exam but aspects are different). I gave last year paper as a mock score only 60. Accuracy was 77% seeing the timing.. I can stretch myself to maximum 100. In a month. Since exam has post wise cut off and this post requires one to be law graduate so do you think I should give it a try. Seeing cutoff trend of ssc in past year... I can't get such marks. I somehow believe that cutoff will be lower from all categories, in post which requires law graduate. That's the only reason I filled form. Paper is offourse easy but timing makes it harder.
You may give Prelims a try but according to me, you should not dedicate your time much to ssc exam. Instead you may go for judiciary exams of your state or apply in any good law firm. I think that would be far better. Rest is ofcourse your choice

@@divyanshukumar885 our job comes directly under central government, unlike banks or PSUs. Yaha vo maze nhi h ya paisa nhi h that you look for in banks.
But basic every year increase hota hai 3-4% of the basic pay.

Dekho every aspirant or the ones who are selected have different approach towards the exam and iss vajah se unki preparation strategy bhi alag hoti h, mujhe kam time laga doesn’t mean aapko bhi kam lagega ya vice versa. Apne pace par preparation krte raho, you will definitely succeed. You can easily secure a job in MEA, just be consistent.

So if a person is Staying in Govt quaters then the salary would be -( 75200 - 13860 ) = 61k . Net pay would be 60 K for an ASO in CSS , if we compare it with the SBI PO it is 25000 less salary .

Basically old pension scheme me retirement ke baad you used to get monthly pension just like salary and that was equivalent to 1/3rd of your last pay (basic+DA). New pension system is basically ki aapka kuch salary amount and some amount contributed by government, ye sb stock market/mutual funds in sb mai lagate hai and lump sum amount will be given to you ek sath on your retirement.

Mam how many people are from institutes like nit and iit in your batch ? i am from civil branch i have option for data jobs and the core jobs in college and few companies allow us for the software role as well . After having the first month of placement session i got to know we need to be jugaadu in terms to get a job in college.The companies of non tech basically focus on societies and pors and cgpa plays a major role in these companies. After talking to few people i got to know that yes these companies offer us upto 15 18lpa but the work profile is really hectic . Same is the case with core jobs with less salaries under 10 . Please mam if you can guide me about these non techa nd core jobs . few people say that amount o fthe work done in these is hectic so i am cofused whether to go with this or prepare for the gate na d get any psu and then go with ssc or any highr exam. at first i prepared for the placement non tech and tech but got no interest in those but with bechaal i continues for the preparation now in last yr of college having knowledge of the job roles i dont want to go with these and with this confsuion i am not stessed in a way that i am not focusing on the placement as well as the gate prep. pure wastage of time in stress in previous one month. Now i am clueless what to do (as after seeing friends placed ) what option i can opt? now i want to prep for the govt exams (few topics i covered also)but these these people are distracting . Also i tried to opt for flat so that i can prep free of mind but this hostel life now feels like hell . (my family wants me to have govt job) now i dont know what to do nothing is going right :(. i am direction less now .

@@Rishi-b9o okay! I got your point. You first need to make up your mind on what you wanna do/choose/strive. Paisa sirf achi corporate jobs me milega. Peace toh this time PSU and banks me bhi nhi h, leave corporate. Government jobs are good but do not pay well. But haan, utna hai ki work life balance yha kar paoge compared to other options you mentioned. i have not worked in private but many of my college friends are working in good companies and their life is hectic no doubt. PSUs ka personal experience hai so I can say ki job utni hectic nhi h but shifts hoti hai and off locations posting hoti hai. That’s why I am here. Because delhi me posting and decent salary with peace of mind.

Yes as you said basically what i am concerned about is if i go to private( in which i am not that interested ) i will always be in survival mode in all time as all i need to have good new new tech skills acc to job with time to time ( mujhe pata chal gaya h ki ye vo nahi h jisme me apna full time aur efforts lagaa paunga for rest of my life) . Ab lag raha h now is time to decide varna is kaaaran jo min cahta h vo bhi na mile . SO i want to go for govt exam . I am always interested in doing thing of my own with a job as you are doing but family chahti h ki m govt office me officer grade A post ke liye prep karu (for their pride i can prepare). I want to ask if the job provide enough time for preparation for higher exam and allow us ki ham kuch apna try kr sake unofficially (like starting a business side by side ,providing value to my family business ).Are people doing small business for extra earning .mam now i am fully focusing on the ssc As for this imo the css mea and da job will work for me .i will first cover the syllabus . @@Rishi-b9o I am not sure about other posts, but in ASO, CSS and MEA, you may get time for further studies condition being work load is not more. Office timings k baad aap free ho to study or follow your passion. Though second source of income is not allowed on your name except if the source is art related like book writer etc.
