    Beautiful sunset video. LaHaina in all its gorgeous wonder and magic. The video will be so appreciated to view the glorious sunset and to remember the most beautiful, special, sacred, precious town in the whole world but will surely cause some tears of what will be deeply missed. Deep love for LaHaina

    My family and I are so heartbroken. All the times we would visit everyone there made us feel so welcome. We always said thank you for sharing your home with us. Still can't believe it's gone. Our prayers are for all of you during this difficult time. 🙏 😢

    My husband and I were going on our first honeymoon there the first of next month. Now I am saddened and don't want to go. Instead I want to give the money to the relief efforts. We have waited 40 years, whats a couple of more. Our hearts, prayers and wishes are with the people in this very bad time. Thank you for a great view Taste buds.

      Oh, what a horror the ancient Banyan trees on Maui have perished! What a pity, oh my God, these are such trees, we lost them oh my God! When American missiles destroy cities and kill people in Ukraine, none of the Americans says ooh what a horror our missiles have killed people somewhere thousands of miles away from America! You spent billions of your taxpayer money to kill people and you encourage it! Billions for war! And now this fire has come to you! You deserve it !

I would go inside Wharf Cinema Center and browse around....then make my way to the docks to check in for my 2 whale watch cruises and enjoy every minute of it! now........this inferno has changed it all :(((((((((((((((((

    This shows how we take life for granted. We EXPECT things to be beautiful and perfect and don't THANK GOD FOR WHAT WE HAVE without realizing that He can take it from us WITHOUT WARNING if He wants to. This is not a fluke thing. This is a warning to America from God. You think THIS IS BAD?

    I would hope that nothing is allowed to be built/rebuilt within 300 yards of distance from the beach. To allow for a park area in between the beach & city. Any structure needed within the 300 yards, should only be built below the terrain surface. The marina should be placed Inland. The old buildings are gone, now there's an opportunity to recreate the coastline of the city back into the Hawaii paradise it was before humans covered the beach in concrete & asphalt.

    • @soularzensei1754
      @soularzensei1754 Год назад

      With all due respect, the people of Lahaina and Maui can decide how to rebuild themselves. Until this tragedy, the majority of the town worked on the main street, front street, which is within 300 yards of the water, and I imagine many of the businesses will hold onto the land to rebuild.

    • @chrisvonahnen3578
      @chrisvonahnen3578 Год назад

      @@soularzensei1754 It seems that a different view is needed. Recent events suggest that being informed about the local situation, is not really a strong trait of the government of hawaii. & last I checked Hawaii is a democracy, so the people of Hawaii choose their government… City planning need to account for challenges due to climate change & should include measures to reverse decline in natural marine habitats!
