For the creasing concealer try putting a creamy eye primer (WnW, TFSS, ELF) under the eye over the entire problem area. I find it really helps keep concealer in place just like it does for eye shadow.
Studio Finish Concealer is great to use if you're on the beach or in a pool but feel like covering some blemishes, etc. When I was in Spain two years ago I used SF, I swimmed and it still was on.
love this videos....I like that your videos lately have had a more "personal touch" like back in the beginning, even though it must be so difficult with everything the both of you have to juggle. It's very much appreciated because I so look forward to seeing you both on ALL of the youtube channels you have.I honestly don't know where you find the time.....not just to do what you do,but to do it so well.
I have very oily skin too, the extra virgin minerals foundation from body shop is fantastic, you only use a small amount. If you can`t get that use Rimmel Stay Matte in transparent, since it is clear it won`t add any extra colour to your already powdered face. :)
An amazing foundation is the Body Shop extra virgin minerals foundation, apply lightly and work it in to the skin, it is hard to find a medium coverage foundation (I find any thicker is way to oily and cakey on my oily skin) that will cover scars and blemishes, but it does a good job. After this apply a concealer to any excess imperfections. Then us a good setting powder such as stay matte :)
you guys are so informative. i never did understand about the lip plumpers>wow..something to think about...and nic, you look beautiful for not doing much!! really pretty.
The Body Shop extra virgin mineral foundation is amazing, but don`t use too much as it is very buildable and too much can look oily. Use a good setting powder too :)
Im so happy someone asked that question about pale skin & redness as i have exactly same problem! Redness is always visible on my skin through foundation :/
Could you do a tutorial on wearing make up in hot weather? Although not for the beach, California is pretty hot most of the year but when summer hits my make up seems to melt! If not, could you give us some tips on what products work well in hot weather. Many thanks girls, love your vids :)
Hi guys! could you do the perfect bundle of face products for pretty oily skin? As in moisturizer, primer, foundation, powder and maybe a concealer? Love your videos!
Hi Sam and Nic! I was wondering when you started wearing makeup. I'm 15 and I do some theater so ive worn many faces of makeup. I am starting to feel left out because everyone in school wears at least Mascara or eyeliner. I love makeup and I'm getting quite good at it but I don't wear iron a daily basis so people do t think I know what I'm saying. Thank you. I love your videos. Both of you are such an inspiration.
I have the same problem, just try exfoliating, and moisturizing, also before putting on foundation put on some lotion and try to find a foundation that works for dry skin, eg the fit me foundation by maybelline :)
I have a question for you Nic I see you've been growing back your brows - what products would you recommend? My brows are overplucked and I really want to try and make them fuller without having to fill them in all the time. Love your videos x
i just started watching you guys and i've seen your videos before but never seemed to want to subscribe and i feel like such an arse now because you two are just SOOOOOO wonderful and funny! and SOO TALENTED!!!!! :D i'm so sorry for subbing WAAAY before!!!
Anyone who is looking for a foundation for redness, they should go to clinique. They do fantastic redness solutions foundations, with many shades. And excellent calming and coverage. Hope this helps! xxx
Use a lipliner in the same colour, fill in your whole lip and then apply your lipstick, also, apply a layer or lipstick, blot it with a paper towel, then apply again. then use a top coat :)
Girls, please do a video for a starting in fashion/editorial makeup artist.I'm testing a lot, have a website, cards etc I also work on a makeup counter and feel like I'm ready for a next step but I have no idea what to do next! How can I start working on jobs within the industry: catwalks, editorials, etc? Who should I contact: individual MUAs, agencies, cosmetic companies??I see big teams at LFW and wonder how they got there...Thank you so much for the reply! Lots of love xxx
Wish you could spend an hour answering questions! ;) x I have to use lots of concealer for my very dark undereye circles (think bruises) and it always makes the makeup on my lower lashline melt away, even with setting powder. What else can I do to make it stay? Even Clinique bottom lash is gone in no time. :(
I have really oily eyelids too and I have heard that NARS do a really good primer, however, like you, I am a student with limited funds, and so I use one by Soap&Glory which is pretty decent! You can buy it from Boot's....hope that helps?
omg you both look so beautiful in this vid! my questions: Whenever I conceal a blemish the concealer somehow slides of that area first. I don't know what am I doing wrong, I treat it the same as the rest of the face.
I have a question. How do you create a whole look. I mean choosing the right combination of eyeshadows and then blush and lips that all look good together from scratch.
loved all your answers. My question for any possible future videos is how can i conceal my dark under eye circles (mine are really bad) just putting concealer on it doesn't work for me
Love your videos.. I have mature dry skin skin and im looking for something to cover redness that lasts.. Most concealer type products look fine when i put them on but within and hour or so my redness in back..
the only problem with that is that it makes the original foundation thicker. I used to use it with nars sheer glow but it completely changed the formulation and i didnt like it any more x
Fantastic as always :) Thanks for the info. I have a question stemming from the lady's question regarding concealer. I have an under eye setting powder and use that over my concealer to set it but then sometimes it becomes cakey. Do you have any tips on how to prevent cakeyness under the eye? Also, any advice on how to disguise/reduce open pores?
I was born with purple eye bags and I can't seem to find the perfect concealer to fully cover them. What would you ladies recommend? p.s. I love how classy and brilliant both of you are. Simply love the idea of this video!
what's the best product for covering melasma on Asian face with some redness? Color corrector? or concealer? and what brand do you recommend? . Thank you so much for always putting out great videos.
Please do a tutorial for the mature woman ie 50 plus! I've learnt so much from you but sometimes I feel the looks don't quite pay off for the older woman!
Love your videos ladies! Question: is there a way to minimize the marionette lines along side the mouth? It seems concealer seems to emphasize them more than hide them, or maybe I'm just using the wrong color?
Nic your a doll! i love how you do your makeup and hair slicked in a bun, it really suits you.
Sam, your hair AND make up is so perfect!! Please show us what you did.
Sam, can you please do a tutorial on how you did your hair and your makeup that you are wearing in this video? It's absolutely stunning!
For the creasing concealer try putting a creamy eye primer (WnW, TFSS, ELF) under the eye over the entire problem area. I find it really helps keep concealer in place just like it does for eye shadow.
Nic, could you do a closet/wardrobe tour? I love your outfits so much. I think you're very stylish.
A great drugstore foundation if you have oily skin with a redness is Revlon Colorstay for combination to oily skin. I love it and swear by it!

a pore-minimising primer is your best bet! have you tried porefessional by benefit? mattifies and shrinks pores and feels velvety smooth.
I would absolutely love to see a couple videos directed to makeup artists! Some tips and tricks of the trade! :)
