For real! I don't play online for 2 reasons. My internet or connection sucks I always lag and I got nobody to hop on and play with. I just do the my career when I get time. something to note about gta6 is that they are going to have an entire fleshed out basketball mode apart from the game similar to 2k where you can make your own builds
Maybe not the exact, but I want the archetype system back. Buy the game hop on and look through the preset builds and chose the one I like the most, or go on RUclips and find the best. Not hope on spend 1.5+ hours researching and remaking the build just to play. I understand why they did it, but I feel like it made the game way more competitive than it needs to be.

One thing with nms is certain builds aren't gonna be nearly as good at lower overalls than others. It's easier to do it on like a lock or something since you don't need that much to play your role but if you're on a multifaceted type build It's painful. You're always gonna think to yourself I can't play how I really want to because I don't have these things upgraded yet.
I would change the rep system as it’s too complicated. The overall level and then status colour also with season level and to top it all off your rep affiliation level. It’s too much for new players and the casuals all think the colour shi doesn’t mean anything. If your purple you apparently got carried to mvp status. If your level 40 you somehow bought your way to level 40 and spent $100 on tier levels. Lastly if your veteran 1 or 2 that apparently doesn’t mean your good at the game just means you play a lot but for some reason more game time doesn’t equal being a better player. I personally think 2K needs to get rid of this rep system asap.
I feel like steals need a slight tweak not really buffed or nerfed just worked on most other things are ok we need more dribbling animations and for finishing to get a slight nerf in places I play a 7 foot 90 block and I will watch 6 foot guards casually lay the ball up around me😂 I feel as if it’s more is consistent than anything but that rewards and better animations to move around would make a HUGE Difference

The whole game needs a new animation system instead of just brining in old stuff and barely brining in newer animations and also adding in physics and somewhat of a more realistic and arcade balance bc it’s been more arcade like than ever

My 1 thing to change in 25 is when 2k kicks you out of a game for connection or whatever reason and somehow you get banned for an hour or a day becouse the game itself kicked you out
I feel like the best way to have balance in the game is to add a ranked system. It could have 2v2 and 3v3 modes. Doing this would not only make the game fun for comp players and casuals (for example slider changes, people making whites in the park vs only green in ranked) but it would also give people incentive to play more, as long as the ranked rewards are good). Like glowing and moving player banners when you hit plat or hitting the highest rank gives you some sort of glowing aura when you walk around the city. I don’t really care that much about other issues with the game, I just don’t play it that much because I don’t feel like I gain anything for winning. Ranked would also solve the bad teammate issue.

Your content are qualities. I just want to share that I love playing NBA 2K since NBA 2K11. I am not affected by the majority of hates, I am a Filipino and grew up watching NBA, NBA Live is the only thing I have 4 decades ago, remembering Live 94 on year 1995 on my Sega. You know, I can see a lot of people nor ommunity hating this game so much. I don't play NBA 2K Multiplayer Online, the way I play this game is through its base. Seasons, My Era. I can have all the access thru attris and all. That is why I genuinely enjoy playing this game like nobody else. Until now, my Camera is Broadcast on 12 mins on clone Hall of Fame custom ( user v PC same attri) And I think this is the only way you can really feel the true essence of NBA game for me through out this lifetime.
There is a lot of things I would change about 2K but, the first thing that comes to mind is the mynba eras. Its like there barely put any effort to make that mode. It got so bad, to the point that people has to use mods just to play mynba like put some kind of effort into it gng.
If they don’t change the gameplay this year I’m done, not really worried about the micro transactions, but the game needs more fluidity, the game reacts too late to alot of things from dribble inputs to reaching in, still get stuck in animations, the body up animations needs lots of work, they really need to bring in next gen graphics, MC needs more solo modes for guys who just want there own team, like starting 5 but with a solo player and his created pro am team, the more games you win the better your A.I teammates get or when you beat the street ball players in the story quest for 24 you get a chance to pick them up and put them on your pro am team, add leaderboards & weekend playoffs with rewards, rec needs more gym locations actually traveling to different gyms

The one change I want is true skill based matchmaking in solo queue somewhere (ideally no squad rec) would %100 increase my joy in the game.

Until now, my Camera is Broadcast on 12 mins on clone Hall of Fame custom ( user v PC same attri) And I think this is the only way you can really feel the true essence of NBA game for me through out this lifetime.
There is a lot of things I would change about 2K but, the first thing that comes to mind is the mynba eras.
Its like there barely put any effort to make that mode. It got so bad, to the point that people has to use mods just to play mynba like put some kind of effort into it gng.
If they don’t change the gameplay this year I’m done, not really worried about the micro transactions, but the game needs more fluidity, the game reacts too late to alot of things from dribble inputs to reaching in, still get stuck in animations, the body up animations needs lots of work, they really need to bring in next gen graphics, MC needs more solo modes for guys who just want there own team, like starting 5 but with a solo player and his created pro am team, the more games you win the better your A.I teammates get or when you beat the street ball players in the story quest for 24 you get a chance to pick them up and put them on your pro am team, add leaderboards & weekend playoffs with rewards, rec needs more gym locations actually traveling to different gyms
what i hate most about this game is dribbling… if they kept the 2k23 dribbling and 2k24 adren system, it would been right
I would change the input delay. Make it as close as possible to mycareer
I hope they make MyCareer good again because I play MyCareer alot, mostly from NBA 2k16. 2024 is finna be my year for gaming playing college football, madden, NBA 2k25, Call of Duty and other games. I'm gonna be busy everyday playing all these games
Sweats are a big problem I don’t know how to speed boost and L2 cancel, bro it’s so hard to guard em make that easier and fix dribbling maybe dribble like 2k17
Woohhoo A fresh start. Ima huge 2k fan bro been playing it since 2k7 lol. I didnt get into park until 2k18 tho. But bro I didnt play 2k at all this year 😂😂 I play 10 park games, only made 1 build and he just a 92. Whenever I got bored I just went to Theatre to play 1v1 then get off. Next year ima do better
