UshbaTesoro made the switch from grass to dirt about a year ago. From there, we won the Dubai World Cup in the fifth race. This is an incredible accomplishment!
And his father is that Triple Crown horse Orfevre!
l lost the expectations on Emblem Road (descendants of Easy Goer) but congrats to the winner of DWC this year,Ushba Tesoro (descendants of Sunday Silence)

Sired by Orfevre, Japnese turf Triple Crown horse back in 2011, who also ran runners-up in the Arc two years in a row.

I just now watched the replay of Ushba Tesoro's win. I suspect nitrofeed in his diet. It seems many of the int'l runners are actually stabled in Dubai during the winter, and seem to thrive on that. Don't recall if Ushba's one of them. Do you think they're eye-balling the Kentucky Derby?
He's not 3 and thus not eligible for any Derby
The 2nd could not even win a race 4 grades lower in the UK just a few runs ago, so you have to wonder about the quality of this field

UK and Meydan, turf vs dirt especially, are totally different ground, tho. I mean: you can send Baaeed to DWC and he'd prob get stuck in the back bcs he would hate the dirt.
Do they blood test? Was this a terrible field? Either that's the next coming of Secretariat or something is way off. Spots the field 25 lengths, not even on the screen through the first quarter or half, checks about 2x while cornering in the 10+ path, comes home like a stolen Lamborghini, covers over 2 miles in the process and gallops out like he's ready to do it immediately again.
It's just the usual day for Ushba Tesoro, he loves that position at the back. Also, i'll have you know that after switching to dirt all 6 of Ushba Tesoro's dirt races he has the fastest final 3F in all of those races. So yeah, just his normal day and had his perfect gate.
Very poor field of horses.
