I watched the release show, the most impressive thing they mentioned is the comprehensive repair service network they built in China. (Something like) 95% of repairs for Agras drones were repaired within 8 hours / overnight. They do serve the customers and save money/time for them.
I think dji agras series are launched in domestic market first to test reliability. They obviously have a loooot of first party service location in China, which makes everything way easier than third party distributors.
DJI has a lot of focus on the post-sale service in their domestic market which includes insurance and quick fixing services. So to be fair if they want to introduce the new product to, for example, the US, there’s a lot of things they need to do like training engineers and flyers other than just exporting the drones.
Thanks for sharing! For heavy lifting, why can't DJI develop gas-powered helicopters instead of battery-powered drones to do the jobs since most commercial and military heavy-lifting companies use Gas-powered helicopters?
China's leadership in battery technology and electric motor, and how simple it is to control electric motor than gas powered engine. Also, they'll need help from the west on gas powered engine. With how good their product are, soon they'll be "national security" concern and lose access to those engines.
It’s crazy the amount of hate from the Americans. It doesn’t matter though really because everyone knows DJI software is just absolutely superior and way more user-friendly.

Compared with John Deere who try to milk their customer dry, sucking customer hard earned money constantly by way of "proprietary service"

Indeed, nice to see what's coming and know it's been well tested.

As anyone could imagine, this isn't simply an agricultural drone
It’s XAG’s system other than the nozzle configuration, it’s already been around for while. Always one step ahead of the game XAG! 👍
If xags p30 is anything to go by their game is smashing drones into the ground.
this is scary. commercial drones use Lidar system. imagine their military drone
