I actually have the King of Wolves manga tankōbon that was released over here many years ago now, happy i picked it up, been a fan of Miura long before he was popular in the west, but now it is so very different from what it used to be, things change and sometimes so very fast. Love seeing the original format King of Wolves was released in and how it was presented. Thanks for showing, curious about the other manga in those Animal House magazines. Keep on slinging those book and rocking the manga! Keep the love and passion alive!
Thank you brother! Would love to have them in English, but prob impossible to find these days I'm guessing. Wish it were easier to find these old Animal House bc I'd just get the whole run in them, but so dang rare--it's a shame that people just throw away manga mags here :(
@@japanbookhunter It is only one volume, the Manga ended at about 200 pages. It seems like the english version has become expensive, was sure they were gonna do a reprint at one point, or if they did and even that is now expensive it seems. It was about 19 years ago since the english version was released. It is to bad that people throw so many of these things away, not thinking about the future or what value those things actually have, it´s a good thing that people like us takes care and store these things, saves them, saving culture and history, passing them on to people that care. People just throw to many things away in general, good stuff, usable and valuable stuff, if only ordinary people understand how much is thrown away and destroyed, things of historical value, artistic value and monetary value, it is crazy, there are better ways. It is a good thing those books ended up with you or in the hands of anyone that passed them along. It is a shame, but save what you can and do your best with selling and collecting what you can, it makes a difference.
I saw a different issue of Animal House online for $400 recently and it didn't even have a first appearance! It was the only one I could find online. I guess it's just luck finding them in the wild....
What a rad book! Would love to see more videos looking at these types of magazines. Keep up the awesome work man!
More to come!
