Hello Nicole. Everything looks so fresh and new after the rain. I have that plant with the pink and green leaves in my garden in Australia. It dies off in winter and comes out again in spring/summer. I really love the curtains around the cupboard.They really match the rest of the decor. I guess cupboard doors will stop the insects that may intrude at any time. How wonderful to have fresh seafood whenever you want it plus all the fruits and vegetables. paradise.
I honestly love the curtains even more than the cabinets! it probably makes looking for stuff and getting stuff out easier! I also love how much your husband sings when he does stuff hah I do the same thing!

Curtains below the counter top is okay but it would be better to leave it open so that you know where to find some items...wood is not advisable for kitchen utensils since they tarnish when exposed to water & moisture....
