This is an advanced RFID based Online Attendance System using NodeNCU and Google Sheets. The main feature of this project is you can manage lot of information about a person like roll number, first name, last name, phone number and much more. I have stored all the data on RFID tag.
When a student or employee scans his/her card, then the data stored on the tag will be sent to the Google Sheets. such as first name, last name, pone number, email or any data that you have stored on the RFID tag. You can also change the data stored on RFID tag as per your Needs. You can use this project to automate the attendance system for offices, schools and universities.

Hello, how can we include this project with lab particulars management data logging ? Where we must include student who is accessing the instrument and the instrument which is taken as well both must be scanned in RFID and data must be stored in one row,how can we do?

Thank you a lot ,sir.I did it and worked so well.We made it in group and when we showed that in school they agreed to fix it in the school.They requested us that, can we make it like each student who shows the card to it, the name may appear in different Google sheets accoding to class wise.eg:if 10-A class students shows his card ,the name may be registered on the a sheet named 10-A.Can you help us to do this .I think that you can definitely help us and upload a video on it .Hope you could do do it Faster. Please help us

My rfid module rc522 doesn't read my rfid card but everything works fine the rc522 getting proper power supply and led glows in it , what are reasons and how to fix it

When I connect NodeMCU to my laptop, in device manager it shows FT232R USB UART under other devices with an exclamatory mark[!].
I tried installing FTDI drivers, then it showed USB Serial port(COM3) under Ports(COM & LPT),
when I try to upload code it shows selected port does not exist or your board is not connected.
check your usb wire, maybe its a only power not data transfer

i'm having an issue, even when i bring the tag close to the scanner it doesnt scan and no data appear on the screen, please advise what to do
If you are using the breadboard for making connection is sometimes (loose connections) produce noise that interference with rfid signals. try to connect the rfid reader directly to the nodemcu using jumper wires.

I have used nodemcu 1.0 (ESP 12E Module).
you can also replace the D3 with 0 and D4 with pin 2. your issue will solved

Not all cards are compatible with all readers. Make sure that your card is compatible with your reader, and that you are using the correct protocol to communicate with the card.
hi, i'm trying to send data from a sim800l to gsheets. the scripts is same your example.

+HTTPACTION: 0,603,0 (DNS Error)
the data appears in the spreadsheet, but the response is 603 - DNS Error
you cannot send data to google sheets using sim800l. you need some http client library that work with sim800l.

Have you tested URL manually.
the fathers name in the write-data file with space, replace the space between the name with an underscore_

have you tested the google sheet web app URL manually. if it is working fine?
There is a very long request URL in the serial monitor. starts from script.google.com
just copy the whole URL and paste it in the web browser and check if it is working or not and let me know

You have added the first rfid tag. so the same method will be used to add as many rfid tags as you need

Error 400 Bad Request: It indicates that the server cannot not process the request due to invalid request or error in request syntax.
have you tested the google sheet web app URL manually. if it is working fine?

Thanks for sharing the issue. there was an error in the code. so, I have updated the code. Now download the latest copy of the code. just change in the line number 26 and line number 27
