Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. The key is that it starts with God. He says it, we hear it, we prophecy it, we act on it. The key is that it starts with God not us. Decreeing or prophecying stuff that starts with us and not God will fail. Only stuff that starts with God succeeds!!

There is a fundamental difference between Prophet and Prophecying and it has to be sorted out. Prophets are Eph 4 gifts. Directly called by the risen ascended Christ, tested and affirmed by other Eph 4 gifts. And are equipping the saints for works of service. Propecying all may do and should be eagerly desired. Calling people who are Prophecying (which is ok) Prophets is causing all kinds of confusion!!
