Thank you so much. I went though the setting and manual several times. Couldn’t hear anything through the sounds system - only through the tv. When I went into the additional setting I saw where “Sound System” was turned off. Now it works. Thanks again!
Thank you good sir wow me and my wife bought the full home entertainment system and we could not figure how to get the audio to work than we did the steps you did to turn the sound bar on and it worked your amazing I told my wife damn haaabbeeebeeee did it he got it on for us wow thanks LoL being honest
Hey. I have a Sony HT S40R sound system. I have to keep the TV volume too high around 50 plus to have enough sound from my sound system (connected via HDMI arc) compared to if I use an aux cable blue tooth connection with the sound system. My tv is Sony Bravia Please share any inputs. 😊
why in the HDMI port in the audio system say "HDMI *OUT*" That should be *IN* because you are sending audio signal from your TV for example to the audio system, right? :S

Rt3 does so well for its price. Don't go with sony S40 series. If you have any budget constraint buy the ht s20r which has all the features of S40 except the rear is not wireless that's it. Don't fall for there marketing. Buy S40 only If you really need the wireless option
I bought s40r... Please don't listen to anyone.. I have done my research in each and every aspect, and s40r over shadows rt3 or rt40 in every way... Rt3 has harsh vocals.. Where in s40r you get crystal clear vocals... You can hear every bit of instrument playing in background.....rt3 dont respond that well in clarity part... But rt3 has stronger base... If base is your priority then you can go for jbl 5.1...otherwise if you want class apart home theatre which actually serves its purpose.. Then go for s40r

I bought this 2days before. There’s a connectivity issue with satellite speakers modem. There was some noise in satellite speakers initially i thought the problem was with speakers. But actually the problem is with amplifier. It often disconnects and connects back for micro seconds, due to this noise is occurring in satellite speakers. Any one has idea, how to rectify this please.
In mine, when I take the sound output from HDMI ARC, the sound does not come out from the rear speakers. Can anyone help me? Also, when I use Bluetooth, I don't have this problem.
My sony ht s20r stopped working after a year. They are asking for 50 % of the price for repair woth only 3 months warranty. Better for a different brand.
