is it because you've got the EZ wheels on. Henced the moment you fold, it automatically sets itself in the half close position. I dont think there will be an issue there is no extra wheels attached.
Thanks for the tip! Really useful for new owners. Just a question, when we need to put the bike in a laying position e.g in the car boot, which side should it lean on? Thks
Just bought one.. i think it is very defficut to fold birdy bike. The front left bolt is always bangging the rear deraileur area is that happen to you? Can you film when the rear DR meet the left fornt bolt that is holding the front wheel
Agree that it isn’t as easy to fold vs the Brompton. Regarding the front left bolt, it’s normal for it to make contact with the RD when you’re folding it.
Hi Jamie .. recently I’ve bought a 20 inches wheel set for my Birdy .. would u mind sharing the brand n model of the Tyres you using and the size .. is it a 20” 1.25 or 1.35 ? Thank u :)
It's a mixed Matt grey colour , just wondering why birdy such a criss cross folding position whereby the drivechain is so close to it. Making it such an issue by looking at the explanations alone puts me off
Hi have u tried a regular foldie without suspensions? How would u compare it comfort wise? I have a foldie but i find it very stiff and hard, coming from a trail bike.
Well I do the CAMP Lite from Mobot, pneumatic tires are pretty good in that it always absorbs bumps along the way...hence BMX bikes are actually still quite popular. Also, pretty much anything is “hard” if you’re moving over from a trail bike with a big suspension:)
Can you do a guide on 20 inch wheel conversion? I have an 18 inch that I converted to front motor electric and would love to convert to front motor electric 20 inch.
It been many months since the last summary of Brompton and Birdy. Will be very appreciative if you can give an update example 1) which bike you cycle more often 2) Your riding experience after months of riding. 3) with months of accumulate experience which one you will choose if you can have only one bike?

Definitely but I am assuming most will install the EZ wheels :)
Finally changed to 20in rim too, just aware can’t scroll by rear wheel when folded (just like 18in)
Does 20” Birdy fit in airline checkable suitcase
Is this also the same for the birdy new classic with 20 inch rim?
May I know where u get the rear frame protector? What material is that? To prevent the chain from hitting it.
Hi Jamie. Great videos! Can I know where did u buy your extendable EZ wheels from?
Bought it from e-walker :)
Those are gorgeous EZ wheels! Where did you find them please!? 😊 thanks

Enjoying your Birdy videos! Gonna order mine this Wed!
are you using panaracer mint lite? 20x1,25 do you think Schwalbe kojak 20x1,35 will fit?
can 20inch wheel use 20x1.35 kojak? are you using 20x1,25?
Do u still have your brompton sir?
Most definitely:)
would you recommend this bike to go on small trail?
Well, they do have GT version which allows for trail riding :)
Have you ever tried IF Move from the same company who manufactures Birdy?

Hello jamie, i own a r20, my rear wheel won't go up all the way, and it cause the seatpost not got all the way through.
It can, just takes a while of adjusting...

Why didn’t you like the rohloff?
It was too heavy...

Your saddle has moved or that is position of your saddle. Please check
Good observation, yes, my saddle is pushed all the way back because of my body structure.
Nice tip.. thanks
Not riding your brompton anymore?
