I so love that they do The Clansman. It's tribute to the Blaze era and the amazing music that came out of it.
Props to Bruce for delving into the Bayley stuff. No ego there. No way in hell would Dio have agreed to do Tony Martin stuff, or would Vince Neil do John Corabi stuff, or would Halford do Owens material...

@@RGK93 same here. He is a fantastic guitar player and great song writer. But his style is in line with blackmore... and people love or hate blackmore randomness. Most lobe Smith more than others because he is super rocknroll... easier to get in

Love Maiden but when it comes to Rock in Rio they'll never equal the 2001 show on the Brave New World tour. A great new album in BNW and a band renergised by the return of Bruce and Adrian.

I went to my first Maiden concert in 2022 at UBS Arena on Long Island. The was the first time I ever heard the clansman. Now its my favorite song by Iron Maiden. WE ARE THE CLANSMAN!!
I saw them in Athens back in the summer. It was awesome to see 60000 fans chanting freedom

Io ho visto i Maiden a Città del Messico il 7 settembre, quindi dopo questa performance in Brasile, e la prestazione della band è stata totalmente diversa. Ovviamente era differente anche il pubblico messicano; la folla trasmetteva energia e partecipazione, ricevendo in cambio il feedback della band all'ennesima potenza. Anche il pubblico era numericamente maggiore a Città del Messico, secondo la stessa ammissione fatta sul palco da Bruce Dickinson. Alla luce di ciò, almeno per quanto concerne questo Tour, il Messico meriterebbe un live in dvd assai più rispetto al Brasile.

When I first heard this intro in Chicago, I got excited because it is a similar vibe as Infinite Dreams. I had been listening to it the evening before hoping they were going to play it. I had never listened to the later Albums so joke was on me!

Why does it sound so dead?. The crowd are asleep, the energy is nowhere... why do they have cameras up?, the band is in front of them, are they planning on making and releasing their own dvd?... what a waste. I'd be crowd surfing going mental lol. People standing their with phones though, why?, what's the point... they could have stayed home and watched it on youtube if that's all they wanted to do...

In realtà ci impiegano il tempo che serve... Semplicemente, in occasione dei cambi di pelle, c'è una pausa (a luci spente) che dura ben di più dei normali stacchi tra una canzone e l'altra (ed a quanto pare i tecnici hanno una torcia attaccata al cappellino, o qualcosa del genere, perché non è fattibile fare quel tipo di lavoro al buio)!
Still prefer Blaze Bayley's original vocal on this!

Ci sono vari fattori, fatto stà che sto live è pessimo. Speriamo sia solo un eccezione, un caso a parte. Altrimenti il futuro non è dei più rosei 😅
A me sembrano stanchi, in particolar modo Bruce e Steve, gli altri non li ho osservati molto... suonando comunque non tutte le giornate sono uguali, a volte sei al top a volte meno....chissà! Speriamo bene perché i prossimo anno li vorrei vedere in Italia, dopo il bidone di questo anno. L unica volta che li ho visti e stato al Monster of rock del 92, e purtroppo solo metà concerto, perché un nostro compagno stava male e siamo dovuti scappare...
Don't get me wrong i am a huge maiden fan but Maiden sounds tired, like the years has been a huge weight on them and cannot take it anymore, it's sad to see them like that :'(
I just saw them live a few days ago, and they sounded very energized. Bruce's voice was amazing! The only time where I felt like they sounded tired was during Run to the Hills, it was the slowest I had ever heard it, and it seemed like Bruce was barely putting any effort in singing it, choosing to let the crowd sing most of the song, sadly. :(
Thinking the same, been a fan since 88, love their earlier albums before that too but the energy seems gone here, makes sense but what a band over the years

@@jshiner7298 someone who saw the mexico show said they were better. yes they seem tired even gers isn't moving much. live shows are a gamble but they choose to take it,not like some bands miming and lip synching with the drums playing with nobody there and the singer feet away from the mike.

Crappy, terrible flat sound which doesn't do the band any justice. I saw them 12 times this year and there was more energy in 10 seconds of their live show than in the 9 minutes of this recording. Pathetic job whoever edited that. Thanks for the upload anyway!
Blaze también es un buen vocalista, sus álbumes The X Factor y Virtual IX son muy buenos pero lastimosamente en los conciertos en vivo no estuvo a la altura de Bruce al cantar los temas clásicos y este fuera rechazado por los fans. Pero en fin larga vida a los Iron Maiden y al heavy metal.

Ive been growing away from this type of metal. As Iron Maiden will always have a place in my heart ive been exploring “younger” bands not too young. Like nightwish epica wintersun MAYAN etc. they all sound amazing for the symphonic metal genre that ive been getting into lately
