Hi guys. A small number of EV6's had issues with the heater. A few made before September 11th 2021 needed a software update, those after needed the update and an inverter. An even smaller number needed a PTC heater. Kia have stock of those parts and if you have an EV6 and it has an issue, the dealer will be able to sort it with you. As you can imagine, Kia wasn't expecting the heating issue so the Sportage has been given extra testing to ensure their customer's are happy.
Hi. I have been watching so many reviews for this Sportage. I have ordered the GT Line S self charging hybrid. I must say your review has topped all other reviews and well done to you. Very informative and interesting. That is the first time hearing of the heater not working in the EV6 and I agree with you hope this does not spread into the Sportage. Once again thank you for a very honest review and please if any more for the sportage let us all know. Thank you so much.
Yes - I agree. This is, without doubt, the best review of the Sportage. It is detailed and tells you all you need to know without going into engine torque which is so boring.
Love love love the look of this 😍 amazing video! Can’t believe how natural you are now compared to your first videos! You’ve come along way Tish and it’s well deserved! Keep smashing it girl ⚡️
What a beautiful car AND a terrific review, well done Tish. I currently drive a Kia Cee’d GT petrol which I bought new in 2016. The car itself is fabulous and has never missed a beat. However, I would like to raise a point re your ref to the 7 year warranty. After two years from new the diamond cut alloys started to blister from the centre of each wheel, KIA REFUSED to change them despite knowing it was a general issue with other owners. The other point to mention is Kia will charge £85 if, when they are checking any ‘warranty’ claims, they deem it ‘not’ a warranty claim. So for me, KIA sadly are not as good as they want their 7 year warranty to sound. This has also put me off buying another KIA., which is a shame as I love the New Sportage and the EV6. Love your videos😍👍👍
A fairly accurate and helpful report. Only error I spotted is that GT line S is also available with 18" rims - I have just ordered the Petrol Turbo GT line S AWD mild hybrid with 18". The spec includes a fantastic infotainment arrangement which will accommodate my iPhone nicely. The double panoramic sunroof does give a very airy feel to the interior. It is a very pleasant drive and with 0-60 in 9.4 secs giving it acceptable but not dynamic acceleration. I also test drove the full hybrid which felt very nippy at 8 secs but it pushes the price over the critical £40k. The car will replace my Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross which I have loved. Can't wait for delivery.
Your reviews are improving all the time Tish to the point where these recent reviews seriously rival more established channels. A great thorough review of a car that has certainly jumped onto my test drive list when it's time to change. A very good point made on the reach to the infotainment screen. I'll hang on a bit while some of the possible teething problems are ironed out from initial volume production. Once again very well done! A very atmospheric outro as well.
I've just ordered one of the hybrid GT Line S models, and this has been by far the best review I've seen! Although I'm sure my 1.6T GDi HEV GT-Line S Auto, comes with 18" wheels, and not 19".
@@markwinning4773 I presume by strong hybrid she is talking about the HEV self charging hybrid and not the 48V hybrid that some describe as mild hybrid.
I loved the look of this car, and I think the interior is right up there with the best in the class. I had this car for a test drive recently and I was able to get about 90 minutes on my own with the car. The week before I had the new facelift Ford Kuga for a 24 hour test drive. I went into this test drive process really wanting to walk away with the purchase of a Sportage GT Line S HEV. However I ended up with the Kuga….although the interior quality is just not on the level of the Sportage, the Kuga just excelled in the driving and refinement department. In fact, in my opinion it was so much better to drive than the Sportage as to make it a none contest. Really brings home the importance of spending an extended amount of time with a car.
I have had an EV6 GT Line S AWD on order since September. My dealer keeps apologising as the delivery date keeps moving back. He's let me order a Sportage GT Line S AWD full hybrid as well. Whichever comes first it's mine. Great service from my dealer....customer for life. Having seen both of your reviews for these 2 cars I will not be disappointed either way.
Really informative review tish. Loving the design of this. I was at my local kia dealer yesterday getting some photos for them. Love the dash, the seats and especially the USB ports in the seat backs. Hoping to get out in one in the next few weeks, a definitely great contender for those looking for a smart looking, practical family suv.
Came across this review by accident and almost clicked on, but glad I didn't. An excellent review with all points covered, thanks Tish. I've ordered a 1.6 HEV trim level 4 in Experience Green, can't wait.
I’ve just ordered the PHEV GT Line S. Saw a hybrid at dealership yesterday and can’t wait for the car to arrive. Your video was ace, thank you! Just to add I’ve had my Sportage GTLine S PHEV for 6 weeks now. Just love everything about it. Does have a flat spot (mainly at roundabouts for some reason), so a bit scary when there’s a gap and the car won’t move but hoping it can be fixed.
At 9:02 Please say about AUTO HOLD. IT is amazing belive me it is one of the strongest points between manual and automatic driving. I did not know about it but IS THE BEST OPTION. AUTO HOLD - the care sit when you do not push the pedal (acc or break) and doesnt GO when is on D. ... SO amazing with atuohold one... just amazing should be this in the video
Nice review! KIA clearly wants to meet as wide a range of customer drivetrain needs as possible. Best of luck to them. (BTW, in the US, the past year EVs made up 9% of new car/vehicle sales. It is definitely a growth sector with many manufacturers jumping in, after being so negative about market leader Tesla. Times are changing!)

Why the Kia Sportage in the UK don't have adaptive suspension like on the Mainland Europe? overall, the UK market, tends to be more luxurious than other European markets.
Hi Tish, can you ask Kia why the hell they decided not to sell the long wheel base version in the UK.It is much nicer looking than the shorter one.At the same time maybe ask them why we don't get the Sorento X line,Kia Carnival and even the Telluride.Seems like we are missing out on some decent models in the UK that would probably sell quite well.

Strong means; it does not plug into a charger but chargers whilst driving. Strong hybrids can drive in electric alone for short journeys so are usually more economical. Somewhere online the is a spec sheet that explains what is available. GT and GT line S get 19s
@@AutoSocialUK Many thanks. I'm being told by dealers that 18" only are available on GT Line S hybrids. Looks like they're correct but no explanation given.
Love the new Sportage Tish. Some other reviewers have suggested the auto box was a little slow witted at junctions. Did you experience this? Maybe it’s the mild hybrid that suffers with this.
The full hybrids drive away on the electric motor before engaging the petrol engine, so they move almost instantly. It does take a short while before full power of the combined engines is available though, especially in the Eco mode. However, because of the electric motor, it never gets you into trouble on junctions if you're driving even a little bit sensible.

As always niece Tish, great review. I think it would be great if Kia made a Sportage GT with a 290hp 2.5 litre engine from the K5 GT but add AWD. Also, in North America, South Korea and Australia, they have it as a long wheelbase variant like the Tucson. Here in Europe, we get the short wheelbase variant.
They show all these car advertising, but never show us what’s under the bonnet, they show the boot space, the back seating , the front a dash board and everything outside but never under the bonnet, it makes you wonder if they don’t want you to see something that might put you off

They show all these car advertising, but never show us what’s under the bonnet, they show the boot space, the back seating , the front a dash board and everything outside but never under the bonnet, it makes you wonder if they don’t want you to see something that might put you off
I think there is just nothing interesting to see under there? 🤔
best view while driving show the road from back driver ...better feeling than showing driver talking
Thank you for your feedback, it is quite hard to film that video on my own but I will try.
Kona or Sportage ? 👍
I think Sportage for me. I prefer the styling.
Tish is 30? Good review...👍...on EVs...I'll take the EV6
Niece Tish is turning 30 next year.
@Auto Social UK Which do you prefer between the Tucson and the Sportage? What colour Sportage do you think looks best?
I haven’t tried Tuscan. I love the new green colours personally
I bought this one and the car is fantastic bar the engine it is gutless
This is objectively a better car inside out compared to the Tucson.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts
Does anyone know how tall the girl is?
Both the Sportage and Trish are just getting bigger and bigger..
So big progress
It’s a big step up
Gorgeous! I mean you!
Advice for channel. You need better sound engineer or just better mics. KIA is nice tho
I does make me giggle when people say ‘sound engineer’ I know you’re trying to help the growth of the channel but currently I film, produce and edit everything myself. I did have the mic turned up too high and I will watch the quality ☺️
@@AutoSocialUK okay then, here are some free advices for you.get in contact with "micbooster" (they are based in UK as well) and they will probably give best and cheapest advice there for low noise recording.Another one is get yourself Izotope RX, there are plenty of useful tools to get rid of many unwanted artefacts in your recordings.so be your own sound engineer and keep up good work :)
I love it, ❤️
This is what Americans sound like when trying to make a British accent, lol! "Fancy a cuppa ya cheeky bugga? Alright then, and bob's your uncle, cheerio love!"
11:56 I agree 👌
Review was good and it’s a great car. You really should learn to not drive on the middle line though…..
Length: 4.51M😊
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Why is always the top spec car that gets reviewed. What most people will buy wont have half the equipment
I do actually wish I had gone for the lower spec model - maybe I should go back to the dealer and review the 2??
