Also, many states have different networks of libraries and you can usually get a card from each network and upload that card to expand your borrowing count and collection access OR utilize other network’s digital collections right through the app even without a card in that specific network! It’s such an overlooked, amazing resource.
I went through a crazy reading faze last year (still am) and got into reading but could not afford books at the pace I was reading and my brother told me about overdrive and Libby and it’s the BEST thing ever! I would not have been able to read at the pace without it and Im so grateful for it

The new ones perform just as well so there’s not apple diminishing battery situation after a couple years but they don’t perform any better. If you’re into the paper white, all iterations seem the same. They usually do good kindle sales a couple times a year.

We have the beckham pillows in all 4 rooms x2. They are the best pillow we've ever slept on. 100% worth the price. Only semi- bad side is that you do really NEED to fluff them every couple of days or it'll mold to your head and get a little flat. Must fluff but so worth it and I have autoimmune conditions to. Fellow Spoonie approved.

I love the kindle Oasis! I like the buttons vs swiping, I even got my wife one and she is a die hard “real” book. I love the warm light feature on the oasis too. I have a case that has a kick stand, so I can read while painting my nails, when I’m eating alone at a restaurant, etc.

The pillows are amaaaazing! I bought 2 pairs and I cannot go back to regular pillows anymore. They are so fluffy, but firm they don't lose their shape and I highly recommend them.
You have to try Cuban espresso coffee in that pot. You do need to use ground sugar and as the coffee is pouring out put a little bit in the metal or coffee cup and blend it using the back of the spoon until you get the sugar into a paste. Then once the coffee is done pour the coffee into the cup you have the sugar. I'm telling you, it's the best. You can have it black with sugar or add any type of milk you want. It's so delicious.

I’ve had several kindles and nooks. I was anti ereader. I got a oasis a year ago and I absolutely love it. The way it turns pages and the button to turn the page is in the perfect position. The light and font type doesn’t strain my eyes or cause migraines.
That keyboard is so cute! It's so vintage and I love the color *adds to cart*....As for the Kindle, I feel like the Paperwhite is just perfect. I got the 2019 version and it's so much faster than the older version of the same thing. I guess Amazon does update their system after all...
Moka pots are THE BEST THING EVER. It's the only way I make coffee now. It's because it's fast and the temperature is pretty perfect so you get that deep, rich flavor without a lot of acid/bitterness. Another very reasonably priced coffee bean option on Amazon (this one is my go to) is the Lavazza Super Crema. You get over 2lbs of whole beans from Italy for under $20. It is rich, smooth and works so well in a moka pot. If you are a coffee lover - particularly strong coffee or espresso - I highly recommend it! Thanks for some great recs! Definitely picking up a few of these.
I've had the Oasis since it came out. I love it. It's a little bigger than the Paperwhite. The warm amber lighting is my favorite feature as well as having buttons to turn pages. I read a lot once I go to bed. As I get tired I'm usually reading laying on my side so one handed holding and page turning is GREAT!

Kindle Oasis is great! It flips based on how your reading so it’s perfect for bed reading on your side you can use the cover kind of as a prop up and it works on either side your laying on! The battery is definitely not as good as the regular paperwhite but it charges fast!
Love my Kindle. When I bought one my husband said he didn’t want or need one. Then he wanted to read books on mine so I got him one for Christmas and he uses it everyday and loves it. Turned out to be one of the best gifts I ever got him. We have the Paper White. Both still working so not ready to replace yet.
okkk so the Oasis is amazing! It's smaller than the one you have, which makes holding it super comfortable. I also like the side handle and the two buttons, it's really slim in that area, so it's even easier to hold. And the thing I like the most about it is that the text is lit up the sides. Kind of a similar concept with staring at your phone before bed, the lights point "outward" toward you, and that keeps your brain "activated" and awake, and the Oasis alleviates that issue by lighting up the text from the sides so the lights are pointing outward towards you.
I have that keyboard in pink and I LOVE IT. the keyboards that we got with our work computers have very flat keys and I don’t type well with those types of keyboards. So I got this one and it’s amazing. Comes with a matching mouse!
I love the kindle Oasis! I think it’s worth it just for how comfortable it is to hold and I love having the buttons but the adjustable lighting features are nice too.

I have the pillows for over a year now and I love them! Reviews said that the “newer” versions flatten sooner than previous versions, I would not know. However mines does feel a little more flat and dense, not as puffy but I still love it!
I am way more excited than I should be about the updated Amazon store front. I legit have bought SO MANY things there. It's really the perfect place to find the best stuff on Amazon.
The kindle paperwhite kids is the best kindle deal, imo. It has the warm light feature everyone loves on the oasis, comes with a case, and has a 2 year worry-free guarantee for $10 more than the regular paperwhite. I personally don't think that the oasis is worth $70 more (based on prime day pricing). The only argument for the oasis is if you really want physical buttons. The screen size isn't that much bigger than the paperwhite and the battery life is considerably worse. I've also heard that the auto adjusting light can get annoying so a lot of users turn that feature off.
I love my Kindle Oasis! Being able to switch hands while I'm reading and it rotate is really nice. I would recommend getting a leather case for it. It makes it feel nicer in your hands. It was a great investment for me as a daily reader. A big plus is I haven't had any eyestrain issues with it either.

I use the Sephora facial razors with the replaceable blades , love the handle it’s so nice in the hand and the blades are very good and sharp .

Imagine my horror upon arriving at my hotel and realizing I don't have any cords, especially the one for my watch. Luckily I had one cord in my purse and the bedside table had a USB port. Disaster averted! Traveling is always an adventure.

The espresso pot can get white spots if you don’t dry it. We switched after our first trip in 99 and haven’t stopped!
