  • In 1750BC a disgruntled customer sent a letter of complaint to his copper dealer about a bad batch of ingots. Hear his complaint and learn what a good apology might look like. It's the world's oldest complaint letter, but it could easily be a modern story.

Just remember, you piss someone off enough, your bad reputation may last for almost 4000 years.

I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that there are multiple RUclips channels dealing with somebody's complaint letter from 4,000 years ago.

What makes my head spin is that this is all real. And these two human beings could never fathom such a distant and strange future, with such magical technology, would take their dispute as exotheric commedy. Really, history is special

a man is not truly dead unless his name is forgotten, somewhere out there ea-nasir is severely confused why he now runs a shady videogame company bearing the first 2 letters of his name

The sun god isn't Samas, it's Šamaš. It's pronounced Shamash. It just bugged me, your video is great 😊

Common error for English speakers. To be fair, hearing any bronze age language pronounced correctly (when we even know what the correct pronunciation is) is rare.
