But the producers didn't think audiences would understand, so they changed the explanation to the 'battery' thing, because it's simpler (even though it's completely impractical as an actual solution for power production).
Billions of 120 volt batteries that last 80 years and are constantly being replenished isn't enough? If I was a machine I'd settle the moon if I wanted solar power and abandon the earth altogether. You also have thermal, wind, dams and nuclear right here. There is no point in using humans.

When Neo died, that was the protocol that activated the gold code within him. Trinity confirmed it when she confessed her love and kissed him. It was the final step in the protocol that was necessary for him to be reborn as the one. That's just how I think of it. Great reaction. I subscribed.
Minute 31, this was filmed in a Sydney area called Martin Place. One day not long after I koved to Sydney, I was going about my day an walked past this fountain when all of a sudden it hit me: this is the fountain of the woman in the red dress scene! It blee my mind! Later on, I also realized that the subway fighting scenes were filmed in an old Sydney railway track. 😊
So this movie was written by the Wachowski brothers….who have since come out as transgender and are now the Wachowski sisters. The character Switch (girl in the white outfit) was written to be transgender….she’s a female in the real world but when she would jack into the matrix she would appear as male. They felt audiences weren’t ready for all that in 1999 so they left it out.
The Kung Fu scene on the train platform between Neo and Agent Smith where Neo waves with his fingers to tell Smith, "come and get some" was originally taken from Bruce Lee. Its become an iconic thing as has been used in more than one movie every since.

Most reactors don't watch it but it really fleshes out the story and it's actually excellent. The Wachowski Sisters did a phenomenal job of bringing this stylized world to life in 1998-1999. They were really inspired by Mamoru Oishii's animated film Ghost in the Shell written by Masamune Shirow. Yuen Woo-ping did an amazing job bringing Hong Kong action to American audiences. Phenomenal film of diversity.
If you really think about it, the Oracle could be just another AI that is plugged into the Matrix, running on the same hardware, but either the previous One, or the original machines that created this version of the Matrix, gave her higher priorities of processing time and memory use which allows her to see the complexity and possible outcomes of the system than everyone else, as the rest of them are limited by average resources. It doesn't have to be "supernatural" just operate on a higher level enough to seem supernatural from the average perspective. Much the same as unplugged humans can do impossible things in the system, because their understanding of that some rules can be bent allows them to do more than the people still part of the system.
"Simulation Theory" basically poses this question: Do you think we (humans) will be able to create an artificial simulated universe in the future, as technology advances? If you think 'yes', then the chances that WE are currently living in a simulation are almost 100%.

They were really inspired by Mamoru Oishii's animated film Ghost in the Shell written by Masamune Shirow. Yuen Woo-ping did an amazing job bringing Hong Kong action to American audiences. Phenomenal film of diversity.

If you really think about it, the Oracle could be just another AI that is plugged into the Matrix, running on the same hardware, but either the previous One, or the original machines that created this version of the Matrix, gave her higher priorities of processing time and memory use which allows her to see the complexity and possible outcomes of the system than everyone else, as the rest of them are limited by average resources.
It doesn't have to be "supernatural" just operate on a higher level enough to seem supernatural from the average perspective.
Much the same as unplugged humans can do impossible things in the system, because their understanding of that some rules can be bent allows them to do more than the people still part of the system.
"Simulation Theory" basically poses this question:

to me the Oracle took the pressure from Neo by telling him he wasn't the One... She is more like a guide, she inspires people to accomplish their goals. She was right about Trinity and Neo.
The Matrix is not using the people for storage. They are just for energy. They just provide a virtual world so they are entertain and don't "rebel" (the matrix collapse once because everything was "perfect" and the people didn't accept the World).
Huge epiphany, just like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly Mr Anderson had to die in order for the one Neo to be born.
