Blackout was SOOOO satisfying to play as in this game. One time, prior to his fight with Ironhide in the decepticon playthrough, I ran around Mission City blasting his big blue cannon until EVERYTHING was destroyed. Probably took me over an hour, but it was just that addicting!

@@JustAreru I played a lot on the ps2 and I loved quite a few movie tie in games. Yes the were mostly bad some of them had a charm to them than modern games mostly lack.
Honestly it was kinda necessary to axe them after a while. Every tie in game had to get crunched out and usually ended up really poor because of it. Even in this franchise you have games like Dark Spark which is a total joke. With how much more successful video games have to be to pay off the workers nowadays it’s not very sustainable or in demand to keep making cheap tie ins.
Aside from FOC and WFC this is the best transformers game out there. Playing as Blackout and destroying the base with those EMP grenades was so fun. Just about every character was fun, unique, and able to unleash absolute mayhem in combat. Especially Ironhide where he point blanks enemies with his cannons
The Transformers Armada game on PS2 is pretty fun too, though you don’t get to play as Decepticons. But the boss fights and soundtracks in it are amazing.

I kept the DVD safe for 3 years straight hoping someday my pc will be recovered, and after 3 years when a technician made my pc work again, I installed and played this game, I was shocked that these type of high graphics are playable on my weak pc!!! So yeah maybe other latest games are better in graphics and gameplay, but this one will always best for me because of those memories!!!

Remember the mission when bumblebee was captured, and he has to destroy like, i don't know six tunnel and have to get out of there before the tunnel explode? That one always give me heart attack
Really cool game. Though my main gripe is that after finishing the game, the only characters available for the Autobots overworld are just Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Sure you start with diffrent characters like Ironhide and Jazz (and i gotta say their gameplay are much cooler than Prime or Bee) but you'll sadly end up with only those two by the end and both Jazz and Ironhide are locked within replayable missions. At least you can still play as 4 diffrent Decepticons by the end of the game though
TF Cybertron and The game is one of the best Transformers that I have ever played. The other storylines don't seem to make any sense for me. I miss these old games, they've been making crazy games ever since.
I’ll be honest with you. I never beat the Autobot Campaign until way long after it came out. I didn’t have internet as a kid so I didn’t know how to beat Barricade. So I did the Decepticon campaign and got stuck on the ironhide fight with blackout. I didn’t beat that game until 2013 when I had internet. The first thing I EVER did on the internet was look up “how to beat barricade’s ass in the TF game” went back and beat both campaigns the next fucking day. It was worth it. Loved this game.

My only dissapointment is that you can't play Rachet, Brawl, and Bonecrusher.
Man i remember when i was 7 and i was always stuck on the part where I had to get to Sam before Barricade did. Over time i almost mastered the game. Awesome to see it again.

if the maps were bigger the game would be better - but understandably creating multiple maps for different parts of the game wouldve been resource heavy for a 2008 game
The Incredible Hulk game was so addicting. I loved playing with the Abomination skin and just in general picking up those silver soldiers and fucking YEETING them into a building at the speed of sound and just watching their rag dolls flop.
