Here’s my off-season training schedule Off ice training 3x a week On ice skills training/Conditioning 3x a week I work on my conditioning while I’m on the ice. What do you think of this schedule? Is it sustainable? I’ve also read your article "3 Off-Ice Hockey Training Mistakes (Almost) Every Player Makes" and one thing that caught my eye was the conditioning part. So apparently squats, deadlifts, weight training in general can really improve your conditioning despite being an indirect cause of conditioning. How is this possible? Can you explain the science behind? And I’ve your video of conditioning, skating being number 1, but I’ve also read one of your articles that said to stay off the ice in the offseason. I am confused?! Anyway sorry for all these questions. Love your videos.
