Thanks Michelle. Lovely to see and hear about the shops and to see your ‘haul’. Interesting video. Like the others are saying will be interesting to see the fabrics in different projects.
I love all your fabric choices, every one of them! I'm anxious to see what you plan to make. I mainly purchase fabric online, but my daughter went to Scotland a few months ago and brought back a nice selection of Scottish-themed quilting fabric from a couple of quilt shops in Edinburgh. She's not a quilter, but she did a great job!
@@bitspiecesquiltingHobart is beautiful and has recently hosted the ALARA (Australian Ladies' Amateur Radio Assn) gathering. We arrived a couple of days early (you have to when you come from NZ), so we had plenty of time to wander around and find the five fabric stores. Each shop is very different. All of them contributed to a heavier bag to carry home.
Hi MarQ! The cone flowers are from Free Spirit. It is such a beautiful piece of fabric. If I make a bag, I'll likely make a "practice" one before cutting into this piece! 😜
Lots of fun fabrics!! The birds!!!!! 💕🧵🪡✂️
Hi Sandra - Those birds! So retro, yet so modern. I need inspiration for them!
I loved the vibrant colours! Can’t wait to see what you make with them.
Thanks Kathleen - thanks for watching.

@@bitspiecesquilting It's the same for me with my Scotland fabric. I haven't found that right inspiration yet, but I keep at it.
Fabulous fabric choices
Thank you! 😊
Going to Hobart next spring. Thanks for the detailed info.😊
Hi Deborah - thanks for watching! Start saving your pennies - it's worth it!!!
I love Hobart! I'm looking forward to visiting again. ❤
Hi Margaret - Hobart was so lovely and you'll have to visit again soon - but take lots of money for fabric shopping! Really easy to spend a fortune!!!
