- All the FFXIV Job reveal trailers from ARR to Dawntrail. This is a revised version that includes the Heavensward jobs missing from the original. The Stormblood reveals had very limited release so the available quality is not the best.

I love how you can see the updated way they reveal the new classes its really nice
It's still very ironic that they use a Hrothgar for the reapers considering Garlean Farmers were the ones to invent being a Reaper and Hrothgar were conscripted into service as cannon fodder gods be willing they had a say in it while the Gunbreaker is showcased by- well... not a Hrothgar!
I think GNB was revealed before Hrothgar, so it makes sense, high amounts of irony aside.
I remember pre-stormblood when all we had was the teaser trailer and I was SO sure we were getting dancer because of Lyse. Good times 😆
A few years ago I was playing a game called Tales of Hearts which has this Character called Beryl Benito whose class is a Painter and uses a huge painting brush as her weapon and loved it and wanted for a Job to be included based on a painter to be included on FF4 but I thought they would never include something like that because it could not fit in the ff14 world but when I saw it's reveal I was like "NOO WAAYY THEY DID IT, YOOOSSHIII P. THANK YOU"
Time to start getting glams ready for her! Also, shoutout for Hearts. Definitely an underrated Tales of game!

No love for Elezen, Roes, or Lalas, though. Even in cases that it would make sense and work fine with the showcase (e.g. Lala SGE or Roe VIP would probably have still shown off the skills and animations nicely.)

Yeah, but viper is the one that Meteor is getting so I thought I'd end with that. Red mage was also revealed before samurai. You know I have to give people _something_ to be picky about...
Im still bitter the avatar embrace isnt part of reapers bstance or vpose... that shit had me so hype but then was sad when endwalker dropped. At least make it a unique emote for reaper :(

I don’t remeber these reveals for dark knight, Astrologian, machinist, samurai or red mage but nice to see them
As far as I can tell they were only ever shown at fanfest and never officially released. That's why the quality isn't as good as the others.
I do love how RDM is just X’rhun Tia and DRK is basically Sid those two are likely the poster boys for the jobs and I love them

…only seeing this all compiled together but seems like every time they use a Male Miqo’te, they like a back view of him in the AF gear to start the reveal with. Lol

they really picked up the quality after Stormblood. The earlier ones didn't show much at all.
I wish they'd release that alternate version of Rencounter used in the Gunbreaker trailer. Same goes for other unreleased songs.

wait... arcanist SMN and sch came out post-launch?
Arcanist/SMN/SCH were the only new jobs at the launch of ARR. All the others had been in 1.0.
I'll never forget watching the Summoner reveal trailer and the sheer disappointment and sadness I had when I saw the Ifrit-egi.... instead of just Ifrit.
Love them all except Pictomancer. It doesn't feel like it fits into the narrative/setting with the other classes.
I feel like the other trailers should be more like Pictomancer. It sells the job very well.
It's funny because Picto was my favorite one out of the bunch. Felt more lively and exciting.
Tbh i like Pictomancer from the idea, i mean we already have a lot "cool dangerous edgelord" Jobs, like Gunbreaker, Darkknight, Reaper, Dragoon etc.. and Picto feels like something new and unique
man, the original dark knight combo looked so much better lol i miss some of those old animations
Elezen used only once.. and no roen like ever LOL. the likely hood of hroth being use is higher than elezen/roen.

Male Miq'uote hogging the spotlight. EVERY expansion (other than ARR itself) had a male Miq showcasing at least one of the Jobs. Where's the love for talls (Elezen/Roe) or shorties (Lalas)?
Blue Mage doesn't deserve to be there.

Arcanist/Summoner/Scholar I hate both classes, they dropped the ball on them big time. Rogue/Ninja is a joke

Jokes aside, I’m just glad they moved away from Gun / Bow Mage a là Heavensward. That was an actual shit show.
SMN can be deadly in PvP but well its PvP. Aside from that yeah I hate SMN. I love SCH though but yes its the weakest out of the four healer jobs.
