- Il piccolo Santuario Sorge sul Territorio comunale di Paderno d'Adda, ma appartiene alla Parrocchia di Porto d'Adda. Si TROVA Sulla cima di un picco roccioso Che dividere il fiume Adda dal Naviglio di Paderno. L'edificazione, voluta dal Possidente e medico milanese Beltrando da Cornate, proprietario di molte terre fra le Quali Anche l'area di della Rocchetta, al Risale 1386, anno di inizio also della costruzione del Duomo di Milano a lo Stesso cui Beltrando AVEVA donato ingenti Somme.
Il piccolo tempio fu COSTRUITO Sulle rovine di un'antica rocca, un castrum di origine romana databile fra il V e il IX Secolo d.c. Alla Chiesa Furono Annessi dei locali per ospitare Una Piccola Comunità monastica. Nel 1389 dona Beltrando L'Intero Complesso, terreno Compreso, ai Frati Eremiti Agostiniani del Convento di San Marco a Milano. La vita eremita all'interno del piccolo monastero di Porto d'Ada Duro poco; Nei primi decenni del XV Secolo, con l'inizio della guerra fra il Ducato di Milano e la Repubblica di Venezia, l'Adda divenne teatro di molte Battaglie.
