    Out of interest, had the ‘on the road’ price risen nearly £3000 when you collected your RS3 compared to when you first ordered it? Mine has, despite the dealer telling me the original order form price would be honoured! Not impressed. I am considering pulling out last minute before collection. Good job I compared the original order form to the latest one they’ve requested I sign!

    • @TechInTheCar
      @TechInTheCar  Год назад

      The price agreed on the original order date is what Audi UK dealers have been charging to everyone. Not the higher increased prices. You should NOT be asking to pay more if your original order price was lower. I would ask for speak to the dealer head of business and if he/she doesn’t agree stay calm and contact Audi UK.

    • @fitdazzalad
      @fitdazzalad Год назад +1

      Interesting. They didn’t even tell me, I just compared the two order forms and noticed for myself the OTR price increase. All of the options added have remained the same original pricing. They sent me the increased cost order form 2 days before I am due to collect. So I’ll see what they say tomorrow.
      Cheers 👍🏾

    We have a Mk8 GTI and the automatic emergency braking is very aggressive and has to be disabled on every single start. On our '22 F150, I just disable it once and it never comes back. How is it on the RS3? Does it have to be disabled every time?

    • @TechInTheCar
      @TechInTheCar  Год назад

      It does have emergency breaking but you can adjust the settings as to when it is activated. I personally don’t have any issues with my car however if your it could just be everyone else drives badly where you are so it is setting it off.

    great video. was waiting for you to make one on your order update.glad that you got something worked out and now you are in RS3. hopefully we will see some more great contents. I must say this is my far the best RS3 review video I have seen. you have touched on a lot of stuff which no one else did or tends to ignore. I have mine ordered and hopefully will be delivered next year April if it all goes to plan. I do like to ask about those red vents. so you get them ordered from Audi directly right? do they come as full vent or just those little red pieces and you is it something you can install it yourself or you recommend Audi dealership to do it for you. if you don't mind me asking how much you paid for those red vent trims. thanks :)

    • @TechInTheCar
      @TechInTheCar  2 года назад

      Thanks! The vents are full sections but they slide out of the left and right sides. The main large vent requires pulling off the trim and undoing a couple of bolts. It is actually very easy to do yourself but you need to be patient as there is a definite knack to it. As for price they cost around £160 but prices may have changed since then.

    Great Video
    Ordered an RS3 vorsprung edition one month ago and told it would be available in the last quarter of 2023. If the spec is changed or a facelift model produced between now and the delivery date will it be the newer spec ?

    • @TechInTheCar
      @TechInTheCar  2 года назад +2

      Yes, but I don’t think that will happen. I think the chances of Audi adding back features they removed when they can charge more by having a new trim level (assuming they do add back anything they removed) is not very likely. Of course I have no inside information and we could all be pleasantly surprised.
