      Nice. Can't wait until the tuning potential unlocks on these. Like the previous gen. It will be epic with the better handling chassis. A perfect daily and monster.

      There’s a place in Glasgow infinite performance that’s dynod a stock one at 450 so that’s not what I expected and I’ve heard of others being dynod at 430

      This figure is based off removing the drive train loss. Also the fuel may not be the highest grade. I don’t know what was in the car. But either way it is still more powerful and has more torque than the factory nunbers.

    • @luciussander8217
      @luciussander8217 2 года назад +2

      It's more or less as Audi claim, so yeah, that's what you'd expect. You tell us you have no idea what grade fuel was in the car... that's poor. It makes a difference, so you should have checked or made sure it had 99 in it, as that's what we'll all feed it on when our cars arrive next year. I'd expect to see around 410-420 with the higher grade fuel in it and of course, a few miles on the clock.

      It is the dealer car and I don't know what they put into it! but I also think most people would put the cheapest petrol in that they can and not the most expensive. But it is more than Audi state as it is.

    I agree with you, is the best road legal Audi ever made. Its well made, good looking, fun to drive, practicale, nice sound, nice interiors, powerfull and you could drive it every day.
    Its complete.
    But the R8 is a masterpiece and if i have the money i will have it as a secound car, for sure.

    Bro, that's a video I have been waiting for, I think it's the first dyno for this car. The VAG cars are always underrated by the factory. +40Nm is very typical, even on a EA888 GTI engine. Keep those videos coming buddy..

      @@TheEryk03 it wasn’t the wrong measurement of losses. The car wasn’t happy due to being on a dyno with unlinked rollers so was shifting the torque front to rear. Regardless of figures Evolve had their car on the rollers before this one, like I said in my initial comment. No make of dyno gives the same figures as the next, exactly why they are predominantly used to measure before and after tuning gains. So not sure why you are focusing on numbers anyway.

    It will be interesting to see what PCP figures turn out to be on this and the new M3 x drive. Has anyone tried getting personal quotes on either?

    • @TechInTheCar
      @TechInTheCar  2 года назад +3

      The M3 is significantly more expensive. If you add a big deposit for the M3 and a small one for the RS3 you could get comparable finance but that doesn’t make sense. If you have the money for a big deposit on the M3 and want the RS3 you might as well use it to bring the finance down.

    • @chickenballpizza4902
      @chickenballpizza4902 2 года назад +2

      @@TechInTheCar Yes base models of each car there is a big difference but the RS3 needs some cash spending on it plus I guess it depends on what apr both Audi and BMW offer and what future values they use. If BMW offer a better guaranteed future value (in ratio to the purchase price) than audi, that gap in the monthly amount is getting smaller and smaller.

    • @harshhell4185

      At this moment In time the M3 Comp Xdrive you can get over 4 years with a £6,550 deposit and £999.74 per month, or £10,850 deposit and £899.21 per month. That’s with no options and with 8000 miles per year. You could get a fully loaded RS3 saloon Vorsprung for around £5,000 deposit and around £1,000 per month. If you want the carbon pack and the visibility pack on the M3 Comp you are looking at an around £150 per month extra.
