  • The adventurer at the helm of this flight is 65-year-old Russian Fedor Konyukhov, who is hoping to beat Steve Fossett's record of 13 days. If everything goes according to plan, he'll be flying at an altitude of between 5-thousand and 8-thousand metres and will face temperatures of minus 40 degrees celsius.
