    ICM makes great products, our surge protection of choice is the ICM 493. Little more under the hood with 5 surge arresters on board as well as over and under current protection.

    Why are the white wires not marked with Black or Red tape? Great videos.

    Question - I thought it was against the electrical code to double-tap the wires in the terminal lugs?

    A lot less expensive just to add an External Surge Protector.. That would also be easier to change out once triggered

    Where the wires come through the brick wall is there any conduit coming up to the back of the disconnect box or is the wiring just pushed through the hole in the brick wall and then comes into the shutoff with nothing protecting it as it comes through the wall? Just curios as I’m installing one soon

    Question, When should you follow the max. amp breaker size on a a/c condenser?

    • @TaddyDigest
      @TaddyDigest  10 месяцев назад

      You should always follow the max breaker size for sizzing the breaker and the wire.

      @TaddyDigest ok, I have a RUclips Channel, not as many subscribers as you have. Is there ever a time when it's ok to oversize a condenser breaker?...the comments I get when I call it out is unbelievable. By the way, I'm a subscriber now...love the content.

      I'm glad you like the content. My friend I've got a video on sizing breakers. I don't think it's a good idea to ever oversize the breaker. However you can undersize the breaker and that is much more acceptable.

    If I have 2 mini splits, could I just add a whole house surge protector at the breaker box? Recommendations?

    R you joking? It’s the same device, only with a LED light. I thought you will install something inside the the box.
    I saw your face when you opened the black cover 😆🤣😅
