I plan to visit both Modena and Parma but was wondering which town would make a better base specifically in terms of charm? They both look lovely it is hard to decide.
I often say to foreign friends: "those who love Florence but find it too touristy should visit Bologna, almost as beautiful as Florence but more real and very lively. If you like it, then visit the other Emilian cities, Ferrara, Midena, Parma, Reggio, Fidenza , Piacenza and you will feel like a discoverer of small treasures". Then, being from Parma, I'll give you some partial advice: both cities are welcoming, charming, elegant, beautiful; both have great culinary traditions; I believe that the historic center of Parma can reserve some more surprises for you while walking, also because the city is crossed by a river, which enriches the picture. Best regards
@@itssomethingaboutdavid I call Italy the other Oz, when you arrive, it's another world, I've been there now 20 times, I'll always love Italy more than anywhere else

As a parmesan, I'm really curious on how not Italian people see the city I live in. Thank you for your beautiful reportage! 😁
Matteo thank you so much for your kind words. I’m so glad I was able to cover your town and region in a way that you enjoyed. Thanks for watching :)

Very fortunate. Beautiful area.
Beautiful video and informative but the background music is too loud. Found it difficult to focus on what you were saying.
