"Blurry" from Puddle of Mudd's "Come Clean" album (2001).
Never heard of Blurry or Puddle of Mudd before, but here we are. Don't bother learning the variations and fills for the exact same spots in the song. Most of it is just improvising, as with most bands from this era. There might be some little errors in this tab, but honestly, the tab that I found was very basic and just used a bunch of repetition marks, and boom, tab done. But yeah, there is a whoooole lot more going on than just repeating the same riff a bunch of times.
Some important information that nobody is going to read.
Tuning: D#-G#-C#-F#
Artist: Puddle of Mudd
Bassist: Doug Ardito

Song: BLURRY
Bass: Warwick GPS Corvette 5A Ash - Видеоклипы
I've been listening to this song for over 20 years, and I am ashamed to admit that I had never really focused on the bass on this track, and had no idea just how killer the bass work is. Really great bass lines throughout the whole song. And, of course, played flawlessly. Thanks again for another great video, Leo!
I can imagine lol. I had the same with a bunch of the songs I covered in the last years. And now then you can't unhear the bass for months! Thank you :)
i love the bass line very much
Great cover bro! Love this song I saw them last august and they murdered it!
Thank you! I bet they did..
dang what a throwback
Damn I can't believe I was only 15 when this came out. Times flying. Another great video dude.
Time is scary these days... Thank you!
@LeoBassCovers2 by the way, check out the band King Buffalo if you haven't already. Listened to them about a week ago, and now they're a new favorite.
I'll try to keep it in mind when i have time to listen :)
That was an amazing job. Love the tone, especially in the higher notes of the fills.
Thanks a lot!
Awesome job! Thank you very much for the tabs in the video
A pleasure :)
❤
Super awesome work on this song! I know it's a really tricky one to remember all the bassline variations, it all sounds so similar but once you get down to it you are deceived. Great cover.
Thanks man! Yeah remembering all of it will require a loooot practice.
Great playing!!
Thank you!
Excellent job covering one of POMs greatest songs. Unbelievable tone youre getting out of that Warwick! Fantastic.
Thank you very much! Definitely was a fun one to cover :)
Fantastic playing Leo, love this song
Thank you!
Thank you for this video.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are so welcome!
🤟🏾
Never realized how good the bass was in this song! will definitely be learning this one soon.
I was wondering if you've considered covering some Audioslave? Some lesser covered and underrated tracks include Drown Me Slowly, Jewel of the Summertime, and One and the Same!
Possibly! I did some Soundgarden last month to introduce some Cornell to the channel.
Can this be played on a 4 string bass?
Yup! I'm not even touching the 5th string. Just drop down half a step and you're good to go
Hey man I'm just wondering if you take requests longer than 6 minutes im willing to pay more for it.
I do! You can check out my Patreon page in the description. It has all the rules regarding minutes and such :)
nice! POM DRIFT AND DIE!!!
