- With New York City's mayoral primaries approaching, New York Magazine teamed up with the city's unofficial talent scout, New York Nico, to get to know the candidates. Why should we trust them? What's their stance on policing? How much weed do they smoke? And every other question New Yorkers might want to ask their next mayor before they head into the voting booth.

New York Nico should be the unofficial mayor at least
Is anybody on these posts actually from New York. New York Magazine is considered a joke
Shout out to NYMag for featuring the three lesser known candidates. Jocelyn Taylor has a comprehensive plan and is level headed. I'm glad I heard from her
Curtis Sliwa and Fernando Mateo are the only two decent candidates and barely got any airtime for the serious questions. How about showing the full uncut interviews for each candidate?
Check out the debate between them, Mateo looked like a joke. Curtis is awesome tho
Let's go Yang!!
This was a cool way to show the candidates. Missing Isaac Wright Jr but still is solid. Curtis Sliwa is the man! Sliwa for Mayor!
🤡
Damn fine job. Thank you!! ❤️❤️❤️
Curtis is the real O.G.
Yang is the one #mayoryang
Thank you! #YangGang I support Andrew Yang. I love that man - I first heard his thoughts on the stage of the presidential debates DNC
VOTING YANG!
Curtis Sliwa all the way!!
Unarmed police sending to a shooting what?
How bias is the media these days ignoring Eric Adam about the question of police
Fact. In 2022, according to the Wall Street Journal, New York recorded 278 anti-Jewish crimes, up 53%, and 100 arrests, up 61%, with hardly any convictions. There is an increase in crimes against Asians as well. Check your city's statistics and push your prosecutors and lawmakers for stiffer convictions. ad
🙏Curtis needs to win to bring our city back.
Divine order🙏
Where's Andy?
#1 Dianne Morales gave the best answers in my humble opinion. She seems like a true woman of The People. #2 Maya D. Wiley a very close second. #3 Art Chang also had some wonderful answers.
Thank you to the whole team who put this together, great work!
She knows how to speak the lingo but how she treats her own staff members is really horrible. Nymag also wrote articles about that so check it out. I supported Dianne until I learned about what has been happening inside her campaign.
@@gh4412 as long as she's horrible to the rich & powerful, and doesn't sell out The People I'm good. All politicians are talk, really comes down to who's got the best track record for everyday people.
Time will tell when the endorsements start coming in
@@jjutt87 yeah the candidates for mayor are not so great. I mean the abuses inside Diannes campaign is pretty bad like firing staff members without notice and firing people trying to unionize. Like well if you treat the people who worked that hard to get your campaign to that point then I don't think you can manage a larger scale staff. Like I said read up on it. Multiple outlets have reported on it and staff members have given statements also. Like I don't know how you can represent the most diverse city in the world when you treat your workers of diverse backgrounds like crap and don't care to address the concerns they brought up to her repeatedly.
100% agreed
Chad Sliwa

there is no way Curtis's campaign is serious
Curtis is based
Eric Adams looking like the one
Like the one for the police
The one to enable police violence and tyranny
This was difficult to watch. Some candidates just talk into the abyss. No to andrew yang dianne morales. Yes to Maya Wiley.
I heard she's a mother
@@jjutt87 ? Being a mother or father doesn't qualify or disqualify you. You have to be qualified...
@@gh4412 I know, I was being sarcastic 😅 because that's always her first line, but I may still vote for her idk 🤷🏽
