@G4EATD It wouldn't shock me if it's a combination of multiple iterations. Maybe it's called Ulysses and wears the suit but has Corenswets face like Ultraman. Could always end up turning into Bizarro aswell so could be a cool combination

I'm definitely a big fan of the Snyderverse, and of the portrayal of those characters in that world. BUT...my loyalty lies with Superman as a character, regardless of who is in the suit and who the director is.
Hell, I went back to watch Lois and Clark as an adult (because I hated it at the time) and I truly ended up loving it and regret that I never gave it a shot.
I want this movie to succeed. Superman deserves a great movie that isn't as divisive as Man of Steel. Like I said, I prefer that tone, but I also want something financially successful, so they keep making Superman movies. And if it divides the fan base, then we will be back to square one.
So, while I do have my concerns, none of them are born from being a lover of the last iteration of Superman.
The suit is fine, if the movie is good. My concern is more with how many characters are in the movie and how it isn't really a stand alone Superman movie. People complained so much that DC rushed putting a JL together, and here we are with essentially a JL. James Gunn makes ensemble movies with a certain quippy flavor, and I hope he takes Superman seriously.
All I can do is wait and support the movie if it's good. But, if I don't like it, it's not out of some loyalty to the Snyderverse.
Modern superhero suits keep using the thicker fabric, and they need to go back to the skin suit, Lycra/Spandex look. Am I wrong?
"Plot" twist: Cavill's under the mask
Corenswet is from my hometown of Philly both his parents are lawyers here, well really he’s from a upper class suburb right outside but I know enough to confirm that he is atleast 6’4 he may even be closer to 6’6” like he is legit tall af for an actor.
I remember seeing a post on Facebook awhile ago from when he was like a SR in high school he did a play in Philly and he was like 6’3 then as a teen still. I didn’t know who he was at the time but I remembered the post saying this is He Is The Next BIG Thing Out Of Philly and read about him, apparently his grandfather invented the choose your own adventure books, now it’s own genre called interactive fiction. So destiny seems to be on his side.
Post production will literally make the suit great also James Gunn has yet to fail at a superhero movie or show as he's the one behind the batman joke in peacemaker and he's why the second suicide squad soft reboot was even any good was because of his writing, peace maker was good again because of his writing and humor, and lastly he's the reason to why the Guardians of the Galaxy was a massive success especially the third film being the best of the series

@@ChocolateEffigy suicide squid 2 was his work and it was great and funny and clearly critics and viewers agreed as critics gave it a 90 and today viewers are still sitting at 82 percent mate so what's the point you're making when it ended up being successful along with peacemaker
@@Byronic19134 the dude made the screenplay for one of the best dawn of the deads to date besides one of the older ones I loved as a kid, dude helped to write the scooby doo live actions, he has some bad movies here and their but when it comes to his comic book adaptations they seem to get high ratings from the fans and critics. every single super hero show and movie he has done to date was a massive success with the fans and critics always sitting around a 90 to 80, dude is extremely good with super hero adaptations and that's because it's super easy to tell the dude is very passionate about the stuff he works on which isn't surprising seeing how he's a mega comic book fan

I think, about the suit, it isn’t the final suit. Just like in Spiderman his first suit is kust a bonnet and spandex until Ironman gave him the dope suit
James Gunn doesn’t have a bad movie going back 20 years. If you think a property he’s taking over is going to be trash just because of behind the scenes photos then you need to spit out Zach Snyders load and meditate for a few minutes.
Idk other channels cover dc everyday with no issue and aren’t negative about it. I’m not saying you’re all that negative in this video but this is the first of your videos I’ve watched in months because of negativity.. this video was cool tho
You must be joking about the height thing 😂 look with your eyes at the photo and look at the angle the guy in black (Ulysses) is further back so look at the foot placement he’s further back and the photo is taken downwards so obviously he looks taller wtf a child could tell that 😂 and also look at his arm touching superman’s shoulder he’s lifting his arm above his own shoulder which tells you David is taller than the guy in the black suit 😂😂 fuck me some people are clueless to everything even there own sight

I don't like the suit. Way to baggy.
I mean CW Lois and Clark kind of proves the trunks do work. And how are you going to say you get it that the suit is loose so he can move Show a picture of him being arrested which is a tighter suit if you look at it. Then complain about pictures saying he's just walking (Which is moving around).
I don't watch that show because it looks too cheap for Superman. Superman should be divine, on the big screen with a majestic suit.

I don't hate James Guns costume, But I'm not blown away by it.
Me personally don’t like the suit all that much, but that’s because I’m picky and I want my classic Superman suit done right, this was done dirty compared to every fan art I’ve come across.
But the trunks are beautiful I don’t know wtf you’re on about. It adds texture to the character and because of circus strongmen he was designed to show his masculinity (which he completely lacks in this suit by the way). Superman also wants to show that he isn’t a threat so this is also a great way to show he’s not, by looking “silly” for the people of Metropolis and inspiring children who look to the stars.
Then again I wouldn’t have mind if they made a Rebirth suit with the red boots, I would just hope for no muscle suit, but it’s a little late for that already.
I mean the suit will look better after post production is getting ramped up but so far really the only thing I don't like is Clark Kent's tictoker broccoli cut. Yeah idk I'm waiting for a trailer which probably won't come out till like at the earliest December but I'm guessing more along the lines of next January February cause then they will release a second trailer probably a month before the movie comes out idk Just a guest tho
I don’t mind the suit but if they are going the ultraman route then I don’t want him to be a clone I want him to be found in another dimension by lex or Brainiac.

His smile and the Brightness of the suit ,it's clearly the Superman All-star adaptation,but Superman doesn't go to the Sun at the end. He defeats Solaris earlier in the movie or middle. David Corenswet actually is 6.6 feet tall. With the Boots possibly even taller... Well, Black Adams suit looked cool,but the movie SUCKED!!! I'm happy with the new Suit.But like every Hero Suit ,Like every Hero Car ...they use a different one in Action .

thats not ultraman. 1) why the fuck would ultraman be working with the Authority? Ultraman is from a different universe. 2) why wouldnt Ultraman be wearing his Superman style suit instead of this costume which makes him look more like a member of the Authority lol. youre wrong with who the identity of this character is.

Cavill wasn’t “done wrong” by the new regime. Blame The Rock for bringing him in with no contract when told not to, and yourselves for not showing WB you wanted to see it continue by giving a giant amount of money to Black Adam. Gunn will do fine. It needed to restart anyway. 😒
