You have the best video on RUclips!! I struggle with handling ATM withdrawls. I would love to see something on handling transfers from ATM to a manual Cash account
This is a very informative video! I was struggling with some of the videos that are set up as little stories, and much prefer this instructional format. Thanks for a great learning tool!
Great video! Just purchased Quicken Simmplifi and have begun inputting. It takes my bank information back two months are so, how can i get it to go to January 2024, this September 2024. Thank you so much
If I started later in the year can I easily populate a yearly report? AND if I already have a utility bill on auto pay through the bank - do I still want to link it with that particular biller?
I'm trying to figure out how to deal with transfers between my checking a savings account. How do I indicate that money is being saved for a specific purpose? Is creating a savings goal for each purpose the only way to do that? For example, my cell phone plan is billed yearly, so I put money in savings each month so I will have it available when the bill comes (and earn interest in the meantime).
@ashley6759 I literally just started using Simplifi so this might not be the ideal way, but I set up a Planned Spending category for my Renter's Insurance which is billed annually. I then turned on "rollovers" for that category, set the monthly amount to what I need to save each month, and then copied over what I have saved to date to the starting rollover balance. Now, I don't transfer mine to a savings account (I just leave it as a cash buffer in my checking), but since Simplifi automatically excludes account transfers from the Spending Plan calculations, you shouldn't need to categorize that transfer as spending. And then when it does come time to pay it, you'll categorize that expense against the saved rollover balance, which will bring it back down to $0 and start over for the next year. The key with those rollover "savings" accounts is not to track monthly expenses against them and just let the balance accumulate each month with your allocated contributions until it's time to pay that bill. Hopefully that makes sense!
Thanks for the positive feedback! Quicken Simplifi and Quicken Classic have a lot of similar features, but some, such as the Spending Plan, are exclusive to Quicken Simplifi. You can compare all Quicken offerings and learn more about each of their features here: www.quicken.com/products/pricing-comparison/
Hello, Quicken Simplifi has great reports you can run to determine your income and expenses. For more information on reports, you can view our support article here: spklr.io/6058QxtO -JB
I tried downloading Simplifi and it says I already have an account (I assume because I was a previous Mint user). recovered the account and tried to get the program but while signing in it wouldn't accept my Postal Code (Canada)
That’s all fine, but almost no one uses desktops these days. Everyone is on their phones. It’s much faster and more efficient to manage finances on a phone than on a PC. Making videos for a desktop is kind of pointless, in my opinion.
Quicken Simplifi is actually cloud-based, meaning you can do this all from the mobile app! You also have the option to log in on web if you prefer to view it this way on a bigger screen. This is great feedback though as we think about how we structure our videos to include showing mobile demos as well, thanks for sharing!
@@QuickenYou guys should definitely do it since there aren’t many online videos that showcase the mobile app’s functionality. I can’t recall seeing one or two videos that represent and demonstrate the app’s features.

Great video. Do you also happen to cover Quickbooks Online for Business?
Hi! No, Quicken and Intuit (Quickbooks) are separate companies now. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions! -ER
Thank you so much!
Very interesting. Can you do all the same features in Quicken Classic? Good video.
