Yo creo que Valladolid es una ciudad que pasa un poco desapercibida entre los turistas que visitan Castilla y León y que se centran más en Segovia, Salamanca o Ávila pero cuando la visita, por primera vez se sorprenden por la cantidad de lugares interesantes que tiene. Great video once again. I watched it on Sunday afternoon with a nice cup of hot coffee. Better to stay in and watch video than to go out on a cold, February day. 🙂 (it's about -6 C out today) I like how this video started in the old part of the city, then moved onto a more modern part, and then ended in the beautiful park. Great final shot of 'Valladolid' too. I was not expecting peacocks and swans! That was fun. At the beginning, on the street heading to Plaza Mayor, it looked like maybe those were lights that they put up - maybe for Christmas or some other festival? When you went down the same street on the way back, I could see some of the lights as you passed them. Maybe they were taking them down. Anyway, looking up, it reminded me of the roof of a cathedral. Nice. At 14:40 the building you went in with the stores (would you call that a paseo?) was beautiful. I'm not sure if that was part of Plaza Mayor or not, but anyway, the whole area was beautiful. And of course - the churches and cathedrals. I was going to count how many I saw in the video, but I think I lost track after three. 😉 The subtitles were a nice touch too. At first I thought you were on a regular bike, but later in the video, I thought I could hear a very quiet sound of an electric motor. But for a very brief moment towards the end, I caught a glimpse of your shadow and it looked like a regular bike and you were pedaling. Hmm, do you use one of those regular bikes that have an electric motor attached too? When you said this city was a gateway to northern Spain, it made me wonder - is the climate between north, central and southern Spain very different? I noticed many people wearing winter jackets. I'm sure it's not as extreme as in the USA, but anyway, just curious. Nice video, take care. 👍

With such low temperatures that you have in Boston I think I would do the same too 😄 Are those temperatures normal there at this time of year or are they lower than usual? I'm sorry I couldn't answer you earlier but yesterday I was filming my next tour and I ended up really exhausted. As I told you in other comments, the temperatures are exceptionally high, I was even hot at times. This climate is very good for walking and enjoying the outdoors, but this year it is being very dry in almost all of Spain and I am afraid that there will be drought problems in the summer. I take advantage of this to answer your question about the weather in Spain. Due to our geographical situation, we have a variety of climates that are unusual for a country with our extension. In my opinion this has influenced Spain to be so different not only in climate but also culturally and historically. In Spain we have 4 different climates: In the North it is a very rainy climate with mild temperatures in summer and not very cold in winter. In the south and east of Spain there is a Mediterranean climate, it is a dry climate (especially in the south and not so much in the east) with very hot summers and mild winters. In the center of Spain the climate is continental, it is the most extreme of all, the winters are very cold (although not as cold as in Boston 😄) and the summers are very hot (over 40 degrees Celsius), Valladolid has this climate. That day was sunny and the temperature was good although cold air blew from time to time (I didn't wear gloves and ended up with frozen hands 😆) . In addition to these climates, in Spain there are mountainous areas with their own climate and then there are the Canary Islands that have a subtropical climate with temperatures that range between 20 and 30 degrees all year round. I hope I have solved your doubt with this quick explanation. That decoration that appears on the tour is Christmas decoration that they were removing. I was surprised that on those dates there was still that decoration, although we must bear in mind that in Spain we celebrate Christmas until January 6. You're right, that decoration looks like the central nave of a cathedral, it must have been spectacular when it was lit.
