Storm Damage Cleanup: Getting a Hung-Up Tree on the Ground and Cut Up for Firewood

A late winter storm brought down a number of trees around the property, including a red maple which is hung up over a bar way along the property edge. This video shows the process of getting the tree on the ground and cut up for firewood using a Stihl MS261c chainsaw and Ford 1700 tractor.

our sidka,spruce hang ups are always limb tied somewhere in canopy ,hang around all day but we win in the end.

Yeah… I use that bar way so it was as much about not having that hanging over my head as it was firewood.
