Cool video! Thanks😎🎣👍
A lot of good info, thanks!
Thanks for watching
Literally finishing up some errands while i watched this and one of those errands is buying a new setup. I was looking at the saltist 30p as a lighter setup to what I have but damn your 25lb setup is kicking ASS! Makes me feel hopeful with enough experience ill be able to reel em in like you do with a similar setup!
My 25lb setup is lightweight and fun. It has landed a lot of fish.
The guy at 34:10, surprised to see him NOT putting the rod under his arm or in his gut-he actually has, and is using a proper belt with a rod but holder. I continue in amazement that in 2020, even pros don't seem to use em, maybe not even know what they are for I guess.
that's just his style
Great job man, I’m gonna be heading out on the San Diego next week what kind of hook were u using
size 2/0 Ringed Mustad Demon Circle Hook on the Liberty.
I'm on the San Diego November 17th. We use #2 owner flyliner hooks.
very good tunas
Wondering what happened to your channel. Going out with them at all this year? I’m thinking about going 4th of July.
RUclips deleted me dec 2018
Branden try pumping down to water keep doing that you will catch more Tuna dot stop the Tuna will stop and rest
I already pull up and wind down
What’s the best overnight fishing trip boat to take out of Southern California with my wife and two kids?
Right now for rockfish try The Mirage
No I mean just in general throughout the year what boat where do you catch the most fish where is best to go out of. Thx
@@jbr555s its hard to say because fish counts are always up or down. Keep an eye on 976 tuna.
To catch more fish use shorter rod like 6ft or 6.5 foot. You are getting worked on your 8 foot rod.You can cut the amount of time fighting your fish with shorter rod and more pressure on fighting it.
I prefer 8 foot rods for casting distance
What's the setup in the first fish?
United Composites 9 Foot rod rated 15-25 lbs. Daiwa Lexa 400 loaded with 50lb Daiwa J Braid and 25Lb Flourocarbon leader. #2 Owner J hook
Get it Charlie! Where's Charlie?
What United composites rods are you using in this video?
UC elite 9 foot 15-25lb test
Branden's Outdoor Channel 90xf is a really nice light bait stick. I also like using 9’ bait sticks
@@ilikedirtx22 soft tip casts well
You worked at Sport Chalet for 18 years!? How old are you?
over 30 years old. Been working since I was 17.
@@brandensoutdoorb-channel8084 👍 I thought you were in your early 20's
@@pan8a i wish
why do you use perfection loops?
It allows the bait hook and bait to swivel freely
@@brandensoutdoorb-channel8084 use ring hooks
@@alexdecastro731 i do but the crew of the SD hates ringed hooks. They say it's too much hardware and told me to cut them off.
What’s that? “I started fishing yesterday “. Be humble man!
