Leaders of the global Ismaili Muslim community, Portuguese government officials and foreign dignitaries attend a funeral ceremony for Prince Karim Aga Khan IV who died in Lisbon - the seat of the Ismaili Imamat - on Tuesday (4 Feb). He will be buried in Egypt on Sunday.

I met him in the Golden Jubilee at the Ismaili Centre, where I presented a plate and said a salwat. I looked straight at him even though both eyes are atropic in nature. He looked straight back at me. When I looked at him crooked-wise he grimaced, I laughed so much today at that grimace! Scared me to death at the time, though, and I quickly moved on.
