Wolverine is dope. I’m having a good time with him. I agree with you. He’s almost there. Clean up his ult and leap and touch up his passive and dmg just a bit that’s really all he needs. Great video.

You have to sneak and get pick kills which, judging by his kit, which suggest a frontal playstyle, is contradictory. And even then, Tanks with mobility can just ignore him and scape him. Wolverine is either a vanguard, in which case give him 650 health. Or rework him a little, give him a proper passive heal or lifesteal and change the damage on health for stacked damage over time per slash, like a bleeding system, it would go well with his claw theme. A damage buff and charges on his dash like psylocke or cooldown reduction on his abilities based on his rage meter.
I think the simple solution to Wolverine is reducing his cooldowns. Honestly all of them by half cause the range on the dash is so short it's not an escape and far too often his leap is down for 6 more seconds when you're already dead. 90 second passive is ridiculous considering someone can just tap you once after and you're still dead.
Adding charges to his dash would be cool. Make it like 2 charges and fix the leap. I don't know if there's anything more infuriating than being 6-8 inches deep in a squishy and straight up miss the leap. Lifesteal or anti-heal would put wolverine at the OP level of the rest of the cast, I think, without making him broken af. His ult should knock enemies up and then pull them towards you imo
Wolvie is growing on me. Im figuring out how to play as him and boy i do have a blast playing as him. It takes time to learn him forsure. But i love getting into the tanks face and busting them up lol. Also i play a small dot setting like very small and its green and that makes my leaping connect more often than not. His hit noxes are janky but with such a small dot in helps me connect not sure why that is, and swipping works better as well. I notice i have to have it slightly to the right of the enemy too.
i love this character but i wish he was harder to kill like iron fist or black panter. also why cant he climb his mf wolverine gawdang it! or at the very least latch on to walls like hulk does.
So to survive with Wolverine you need to be tactically better than everybody else. He needs support, game sense, map awareness, and communication to even be impactful. Sheesh
I just want them to rework his feral leap so its more easily targetable. Its way too easy to miss the target unless you're right behind them to begin with. it drives me nuts lol Maybe also give him a movement speed boost when he pops his undying animal. Speaking of that, it would be interesting to see what kind of numbers wolverine can do combined with Storms dmg buffs or speed boosts
My friend and I have been running wolv and hulk in matches and dominating with them. The team up is bad if the hulk is using it as intended but works really well if the hulk just short tosses you at his feet after he dives in. Gives you a free enhanced attack to build rage and leaves you your leap to disengage if needed. Thats mostly experience in QP though, I'm sure it'd be different in high rank.
He needs more attack range, movement speed and a better hitbox on both the long jump and ultimate. Also, the passive needs less cooldown. I like the anti-tank idea, make him more durable and he is perfect.
5:41 I main peni. She gets cooked by wolverine IF you can take her away from her hive. We can’t live without it. It heals us and generates a free 80 damage every 3 seconds . Yea we can lay 4 outside of the nest but wolverine is too fast. Peni away from her nest IS NOT scary.
I love the video, however on your buff suggestion putting down that much damage would make it to where Wolverine could do two claw combos and then dash for a kill on any 250 hp target and kill them with just that let alone his % based damage. I think that’s probably too much of a flat damage boost. I’m thinking 17 or 20 from 15
You need to mention specific tech in your guides. It's nice to know a general playstyle and, for brand new players it's nice of you to cover the abilities, but this isn't really what I would expect to see from a top rank Wolverine. You didn't mention how you can steer Feral Leap after you snatch. You didn't mention that if you think the leap is going to miss, you can just animation cancel it with your right click and keep the buff as well as extend your reach and build up fury faster. Overall, for what I assume is your first guide, it's good but it's just not something that showcases a Grandmaster's in-depth knowledge about one specific character. On the plus side, I really liked how you spoke about certain tanks you don't want to brawl with because I've seen the same on my end. I also think nerfing the flat damage on your buffed attacks feels bad even though it's still a net positive for damage over time. As far as removing the %HP damage is concerned, I don't think they should really do that because Wolverine was made with the pure purpose of busting up tanks. Triple tank would be much more difficult to deal with if we didn't have tank busters other than a Punisher shotgun and Wolverine. (Please RUclips don't come at me with comments about how Scarlet Witch does %HP damage, it's not even moderately comparable)
Starting buffs I would give him is 15 dmg adds up to 30dmg total. Increase the cool down of undying animal from 16 sec to 18 secs and buff the defense from 50% too 70%. Also would make it so if you land successful attacks reducing the cooldown of undying animal and regenative healing factor by 0.2 or 0.5secs per hit 🤔 promoting proactivity. And make the enhanced attacks deal the same dps as the normal attack not slightly less hes a dps hero for god sake. If this inst enough the just buff the dash to do 55 flat dmg

6 sec leap would make him a lil op i think just buffing the dps so he can take 1v1 with other dps more relyable and healed targets is all he needs

I think your underestimating the power of heals and overestimating the % dmg
if they doubled the flat dps he still would be Low tier mid

As the hulk you can bubble wolverine right after you throw him you just need very precise timing

He lose his rage meter too quick. Needs to decrease at a slower rate or increase the time of it decreasing eould be suck a nice touch.
