What touched me the most is the mom cutting her hair off to support her daughter. I went through cancer after my mom died and missed the support and love she would have given. RIP to a wonderful mom.

Because every time I do, it heals another little hurt part inside of me to see what real loving moms (and dads) are like, and I celebrate how lucky their children are to have them, and being able to feel through them how it is supposed to be

PLEASE cherish your mother, cherish your father because some people don't have either. I'd give ANYTHING to have my amazing mother back, if I turn out to be even a fraction as good of a mother as she was then my children will beyond blessed.

Mom didn't miss a beat when it came to my sister or my behavior! My sister still has my dads leather belt hanging on her hallway door. Many of butt cuttings from that old thing! I hold the record for the most as I was the oldest and my sister was and is a quick study. Bless all of these gems of a real mom!

And although you have been treated poorly throughout human history, your heart is too big to dwell on bitterness. If there are those who had the misfortune of not having such a strong and loving mother figure I hope you will break the cycle and be the mother figure that you hoped for in the lives of those around you. You have my sincere gratitude and respect.
