I've been needing Arnin Zola in my collection forever since I wasn't collecting when he originally came out as a BAF and I didn't like the modern version in the Hydra set. Plus, Heinrich Zemo?!?! Oh, heck yeah! I am all over that two-pack! The S.H.I.E.L.D. three-pack also looks good. I really want to add Dum Dum Dugan to my collection, but this set probably isn't a day one purchase. I'll probably wait until a sale for it. Beyond that, this stream didn't do a whole lot for me. I don't collect '90s X-Men/mutants so as awesome as that Rahne looks, I'm not interested. Icarus looks alight, but I can wait until a sale or clearance. Kazar looks good, though. I might pre-order him, but I'll have to figure out how to get Zabu without buying the whole wave, because nothing else appeals to me.
Working backwards on my comments ;-) That Cap villain two-pack is perfect for me! At this rate it might be cheaper to wait until November/December to grab the set to build Zabu.
Thanks for your video on these reveals Jeffrey. I am happy for those that are finally getting some of these characters. There appears to be a little something for everyone, and in typical ML fashion - a couple of head scratchers and surprises. Honoring Cap's 60th Anniversary of his Comeback with a villain 2-pack is the surprise for me. Now I wish ML will do something to honor DD's 60th and Iron Fist's 50th.
I'm with you, Jeffrey! SHIELD agents, Hydra, AIM, & Skrulls need to be re-released in rotation! I know that I'd buy more of those! I want to see Vanguard and a classic Crimson Dynamo released for the Winter Guard. Don't care much for Red Widow, but it's an okay figure. Ka-Zar and Zabu! I've been waiting for these two to final come to us. Zabu does look a trifle small, but I can live with it!
Yeah. I always go with the original size that he was presented with in the '60s Marvel comics, which was as bit larger. More not Battlecat-size, but a bit bigger than what Legends is presenting here. Still, it looks good, and I'll take it!@@LylesFigureFiles
Super Hyped for Wolfsbane, Kazar and Zabu. Also Zemo and Zola (Love the classics) as well as Cable. Need that SHIELD 3 Pack as well for sure. and yes Jeff, I need them to bring back Troop Builders! I missed so many back in the day and still regret it. Those are figures that should never go out of circulation IMO.
For any and all lines, the army builders alone could keep some going. Never understood the cap on them for orders and why have them available for a limited window.
I love the papa Zemo and Zola two pack and the red widow and Superior Iron Man. But I wish we got the comic book black order. I was disappointed with no update on the classic wasp figure. I might get the Carnage figure. I don't know about the Prowler figure because one he's a Walmart exclusive and only on their website never in store.
Nothing to stop the comic Black Order from getting done. Walmart has been getting better in terms of stocking exclusives though they're my least favorite exclusive option.

It’s such an odd “Odds and Ends” Wave. Cable and Kazar have a “mutant” connection in the comics. I guess Wolfsbane because she’s X-Factor. Then the other ones have nothing in common with Cable, Wolf, etc. Just weird. Cable might be the only one I pick up. And upon first glance, Wolfsbane’s color or outfit looks off. I can’t quite figure it out. The Carnage looks great. I’m on the fence cause I have the one from a few years ago from the Venom wave a few years ago.
Hopefully borrowing some articulation options from the classified team means that they'll eventually use a ball joint and ditch that outdated waist twist. The sabertooth looks good except for the toes look a little bulbous. I doubt they'll ever reveal a wave where I want every figure though and I only really want Cable. Hopefully we'll see a deluxe release of the cat later on.
The Icarus, Shield pack ,Retro card is nice, getting two Ka-zar’s one to make a Arkon the Imperion , the Sam captain America I gonna have to stay on top of Target and Walmart target often canceling thinks I don’t understand why wolfbane is so orange I hope they can fix and get her more brown than orange.
Akron! That's a great base for him. I think Wolfsbane will be an easy candidate for a darker wash even with my limited custom skills if she's too light.
Must haves are KaZar, Wolvesbane, and Zabu…which means I have to buy Icarus (don’t need, but don’t mind having), Cable (don’t need, but don’t mind having), Red Widow (hello, eBay) and Black Winter (hello, eBay). SHIELD 3 pack….it’s a toss up, so it may ride on whether or not Sharon gets an extra head with long hair. Not crazy about the sculpt shown, and she’s the main selling point for me. Zeno/Arnim…hmmm…they look great, but not sure how much I need them. Already sold off Arnim and Classic Zeno once. The rest…cool, but I’m good with the versions I’ve got.
I agree with your list 100%. However I am not buying a wave of otherwise useless characters for my collection to nail Kazaar and Zabu off my wish list. The competition to move these useless characters on Ebay will be tremendous. SHIELD I'll get but the accessories will determine if I pre-order them or not. Zemo/Zola are enticing but like yourself, I got 'em already
It really comes down to how much I want Zabu and what I’m willing to pay for him, but the cheapest way is usually to buy a full set of the figures that come with BAF pieces and take whatever you can get for the figures you don’t want. I could probably clear an average of $10 per figure on eBay, and Cable and Ikarus are starting to grow on me. Comic Sersi recipie that I got from the Fwoosh years ago. Take an Echantress. Pop of the head, remove the skirt piece. Take a Jessica Drew Spider-Woman from the Lizard BAF wave. Pop off the head, remove the glasses. Pop the Jessica Drew head on the Enchantress body. Done. Comic accurate? No. Does it look like Sersi? Pretty much. 😉
That Cable is looking 🔥🔥🔥! His proportions are more in line with what I want to see in Marvel Legends figures. Going in the Marvel vs Capcom display for sure, will be replacing the Amazing Yamaguchi Revoltech one.
@@LylesFigureFiles We need a 90s Smart Hulk for sure. Onslaught 2nd form and Shuma Gorath are also essentials. An animated series Apocalypse repaint, using his color scheme from X-men vs Street Fighter(I plan on customizing one until then). That should get most of the Marvel characters done.
I wish wish WISH they would put out another Medusa and Black Bolt with as detailed sculpting as the Ikarus. They could basically reuse Meggan and Captain Britain bodies and splurge on making them look good.
I'm most excited for the SHIELD 3 pack, mainly for Nick Fury Jr. But Hasbro is KILLING me with Dum Dum having the exposed neck, thus severely limiting the multi-racial army building possibilities LOL. Prowler would've been a pass, but the additional head sculpt has me intrigued. Spidey/Wolverine 2 pack might be a clearance pick up for me if that happens.
Prowler is my only must-have from these, but I doubt the skin tone matches Blade. That Carnage is really more of a modern Carnage than a 90s one. It's a repaint of Absolute Carnage from a few years ago.

Even though I bought two Dani Moonstars, Wolfsbane is a must buy for me. I'm glad I didn't pay for another Polaris to make a custom. Dang, that Cable is pretty nice. Is it Steve Scroce or maybe Ian Churchill whose art this figure reminds you of? Dr. Karl Lykos makes sense, but I want them to rerelease the Sauron BAF as a deluxe. Knightfall Azbat looks good, but I may pass on it.
I really liked what they showed today. Some well executed figures off of names we knew were coming and a pair of great surprises! I hope they get more of the SHIELD grunts back in rotation. They really need to make those available for folks who come in late or just want to add to their rosters. I got three of those Moonstars ;-) It does hit that Churchill look and I do see some of Scroce in there too!
I'm absolutely out of my mind excited to be getting such a well done and accurate Ikaris! Glad to be getting Baron Zemo, but I hate that they put him in a 2-pack with Arnim Zola because I already have him. I hate when Hasbro does that!
@@LylesFigureFilesYeah, Ikaris was in my Top Ten Most Wanted and they really did him damn near perfectly! Just looks amazing! It's crazy that they're giving Arnim Zola that Kirby art face. I bought an earlier release and printed out that same face art and swapped it out. So I literally already had that figure before Hasbro released it! LOL! Wish they'd given Zemo bare hands and yellow gloved hands though - he never wore white gloves.
I'm annoyed they didn't give us the power cosmic knife KaZar uses as Herald of Galactus. Woulda been so easy. Cool set. Pretty random, but I feel like they scrambled it together after the writers strike moved everything. I wish Zemo came with almost anything else. I have three Zolas already. Woulda rather had an easy repaint Smugler/Goliath, or 1st app Wonderman with that Zemo. But he is a must have. Prowler cape looks waaay better too. I like him.

I'd buy her, but are you seeing much demand for Shard? And man, Deathbird should be in a two-pack at best. I'd hate to start getting regular size figures as BAFs again.
Aw, come on, shouldn't complain they are making original pieces for a figure, even if you aren't jazzed about the character. They should do this for most of the figures, they aren't cheap and the corner cutting is pretty annoying. Don't know the Black Winter but the figure is cool and might prompt me to read the storyline. Maybe pick him up on clearance for my Thor shelf, 😅 Love: Zemo, Zola, Ka-Zar Like: Cable, Ikarus
Not complaining that a figure has new accessories. My issue is there are characters Hasbro knows collectors have been wanting for years. Taking the effort to tool new parts for a character that hasn't been as demanded as others who would require minimum tooling seems like an odd choice to me.
@@LylesFigureFiles I'm a newish collector, and pretty much only into the silver age/80s characters, so agree to a point. But if they have to include some newer characters, I think they should always do the best version they can. I hate the concept of them cutting corners on some figures so they do better work on others; if they are gonna bother doing a figure at all, make the best version. Put equal love into all of them!
Maaan, I wish that's how they would do it@@Banterbear And that really is the best approach, but corner cutting and easy reuse is how some of these lines get done so it's a balancing act.
@@LylesFigureFiles There's no reason it can't be. So their shareholders don't get so much that quarter? Big deal, it promotes the long term health of the line, not to mention taking pride in the product. And I'm not saying some of the figures actually need a lot more, but others just take the absolute biscuit ...the Silvermane springs to mind. NEEDs an original body sculpt. Gets a reuse that looks nothing like his actual body (was it a Beetle or something?) So cheap and insulting to do that. Just don't bother.
Frankly, there seemed to be zero inappropriate reuse in these last reveals, so that's what we like to see (seriously, don't encourage them to do it, they watch these vids)😏

Cables’s look reminds me of the Joe Casey era. Zola/Zemo two pack is a must buy. Fun releases with a little something for Marvel fans of all ages.

Those are my favorite kind of ML waves. Something for everyone! I have a good Carnage too and really don't see how it would be improved.

I'm happy when it's at least 4 of 6 or 5 of 7 where I don't feel that strongly about the sixth and just outright never wanted the seventh figure.

Widow and Black Winter might be tough to go the eBay route with unless you get them ahead of most re-sellers.

Yeah it's wild how the Royal Family still has more to do in terms of their first figures yet Medusa and Black Bolt already need better versions.

I'm absolutely out of my mind excited to be getting such a well done and accurate Ikaris! Glad to be getting Baron Zemo, but I hate that they put him in a 2-pack with Arnim Zola because I already have him. I hate when Hasbro does that!
I was surprised how much I liked Ikaris. They really knocked him out. I kept missing out on Arnim so I'm very hyped for both figures in the set!

It's crazy that they're giving Arnim Zola that Kirby art face. I bought an earlier release and printed out that same face art and swapped it out. So I literally already had that figure before Hasbro released it! LOL! Wish they'd given Zemo bare hands and yellow gloved hands though - he never wore white gloves.

I'm annoyed they didn't give us the power cosmic knife KaZar uses as Herald of Galactus. Woulda been so easy. Cool set. Pretty random, but I feel like they scrambled it together after the writers strike moved everything. I wish Zemo came with almost anything else. I have three Zolas already. Woulda rather had an easy repaint Smugler/Goliath, or 1st app Wonderman with that Zemo. But he is a must have.
Prowler cape looks waaay better too. I like him.

@LylesFigureFiles Pretty recent. Aaron run of Avengers. I know he's much maligned, but I think he's an awesome writer. But yeah, it's a cool idea since KaZar is the ultimate survivalist.

Aw, come on, shouldn't complain they are making original pieces for a figure, even if you aren't jazzed about the character. They should do this for most of the figures, they aren't cheap and the corner cutting is pretty annoying. Don't know the Black Winter but the figure is cool and might prompt me to read the storyline. Maybe pick him up on clearance for my Thor shelf, 😅

Not complaining that a figure has new accessories. My issue is there are characters Hasbro knows collectors have been wanting for years. Taking the effort to tool new parts for a character that hasn't been as demanded as others who would require minimum tooling seems like an odd choice to me.
@@LylesFigureFiles I'm a newish collector, and pretty much only into the silver age/80s characters, so agree to a point. But if they have to include some newer characters, I think they should always do the best version they can. I hate the concept of them cutting corners on some figures so they do better work on others; if they are gonna bother doing a figure at all, make the best version. Put equal love into all of them!
Maaan, I wish that's how they would do it@@Banterbear And that really is the best approach, but corner cutting and easy reuse is how some of these lines get done so it's a balancing act.
@@LylesFigureFiles There's no reason it can't be. So their shareholders don't get so much that quarter? Big deal, it promotes the long term health of the line, not to mention taking pride in the product. And I'm not saying some of the figures actually need a lot more, but others just take the absolute biscuit ...the Silvermane springs to mind. NEEDs an original body sculpt. Gets a reuse that looks nothing like his actual body (was it a Beetle or something?) So cheap and insulting to do that. Just don't bother.
Frankly, there seemed to be zero inappropriate reuse in these last reveals, so that's what we like to see (seriously, don't encourage them to do it, they watch these vids)😏
