I really like this habit tracker and i am currently using a similar implementation in notion. The one thing I really feel like i'm missing is a way to track streaks. For example, I want to see how many days in a row I have exercised. Do you have any thoughts on how to make a streak tracker? It would also be nice to see the longest streak I have ever had for each habit. Thanks!
Wow i am going to try this. Thank you so much! just love how you showed the end result then explained step by step how to build it so we can follow you. Have saved this video now :)
This was amazing! You are a fantastic teacher!!! Thank you so much!!!!! PS: this was so much better than some tracker explanations by some "content giants"--go you!!!!!!!
11:10 you created multiple rows. Do we have to manually insert another row + date + weekday, and such OR is it possible to drag the table down for notion to auto-fill the correct date and weekday?
OMG thank you really! You really helped me, like I was having a hard time with the templates cause I'm more a "do it from scratch" girl. And I was starting to get frustrated because if I don't do it I don't understand. So thank you really, you explain really good 👌🏻💕
I love that's so well done, and the template it's free. I found a couple habit trackers more, but you had to pay to use them. It really ads value to your content
hey great video! Is there a way to have a habit tracker that automatically adds a new line everyday with the date and day of the week completed, without having to manually create a new line everyday and fill it out?
Thanks so much for that nifty trick in creating multiple entries for Select. I'm in the midst of creating templates for my students and this trick comes in real handy. I love your habit tracker and will incorporate it in my template. Will give the credit where it's due of course! Thanks again!
Thanks for your amazing tutorials Red. I'm keen to learn more about Formula's and you are helping. One thing I did which was pretty simple was to turn the 'weekday' prop into a formula and input 'formatDate(prop("date"), "dddd")' which then inserts the day without having to do so manually. I have been trying to work out if it's possible to do something similar using the 'progress' prop to generate the emoji's in a column rather than manually selecting the templates - something like, if prop "progress" is less than 15% then print "🥵" or if prop "progress" is greater than 15% and less than 25% then print "😕" and so on .... However, I'm stabbing in the dark and so not getting anywhere. Because Notion doesn't use the same formulas as Excell it's difficult to work out how this might be acheived. Any thoughts?
thank you for the format date prop - worked for me. Still struggling with how to input new lines onto this chart - it's not like excell or sheets and the lack of easy date creation makes me annoyed :) this was so helpful
Is there a possible way to automate this two things? - Change left icons automatically with the different percentage completion. - Change weekday automatically to the actual day it's created.
Nice video! An easier way to calculate progress is to convert the boolean to number type: (toNumber(prop("habit 1")) + toNumber(prop("habit 2")) + toNumber(prop("habit 3")) + toNumber(prop("habit 4"))) / 4
This is very helpful thank you! I also was wondering how to select days for each habit, for ex. I do one habit 5 times a week not 7, but if I don't mark Saturday and Sunday for that habit my percentage isn't 100. Hope you can help me.❤
This is really helpful. What if I wanted to add new habits in the middle of the year. I understand I have to update my formula but by updating it’s going to affect my previous progress. Do you have any suggestions.
Thanks 👋That's a really good question I hadn't thought of. Here's my suggestion: www.notion.so/redgregory/Troubleshoot-59-0230f41535834fd38a9211d1192006dc
This is so clear, thank you for that. But I’m wondering if there’re other ways to fill the ‘date’ column. I meant is there an automatic way to fill it (like excel). Thanks in advance (English is not my mother tongue so sorry if I made any mistakes lol)
Loved this video, helped me understand a lot! I just had a quick question. If some of my habits arents necessarily DAILY habits, so like let's say I only want to do 3 days a week for habit one and 2 days a week for habit 2. How can I adjust the formula so that if I check of 3/7 for Habit 1 and 2/7 for Habit 2, it would show that I have completed 100%? Kind of confusing, I hope I explained my question correctly! I would really appreciate any help with this!!!
Hey Red, you're great! Thank you so much for your tutorial. It helped a lot. 😀👍 Is there a way to add automatically the weekdays in relation to the date and to show up the emojis in relation to the progress?
I have another question. 😁 Is possible to change the formula separately to include or finish habits? I mean like this week I want to include a habit to track for the next month, after that I don't want to track it anymore. In this example you gave, when I change the formula in one line, it affects the others. Thank you in advance.🌹
I have a question. Namely, I want to keep track of what I do during the day. I have photo and video production and I work on several projects at once. I have written in Notion what I can do. But how much time I actually spend on what project I don’t know. If there was any button I would press when I go from project 1 to project 2. At the end of the day, I would like to see how much time I spent on Project 1 and Project 2.
Hi Red! Just want to know how unsync the boxes I've ticked from one block to the other. Say, I've ticked the checklist "read for 30 mins" (property) on January 17th and when I checked all the 17th of the month was ticked, how can it stay in just January? Thank you!
I absolutely LOVED how you explained it. Honestly I was having a real bad time trying to understand formulas with other people. Thank you!!
Such a great step by step tutorial! I am usually very confused with all the Notion Templates, but this explanation helped a lot! Thank you 😊
This was so helpful! Thank you for sharing this. I've been trying to create a habit tracker I didn't have to delete every week!
Red, Your way of explanation is amazing. I am so grateful for your video. Thank you for doing this!
i have been struggling soo much creating and checking others habits videos but yours was soo much simple and easy to understand !!!! thank you !!!!
I started off Notion yesterday and just created this awesome habit tracker. Thank you! Keep up the good work.

I’m just getting started with Notion and this was really helpful. Thanks for taking the time to put this together 👌🏻
You're the best, thank you so so so much. Please, never leave youtube. You're gold.
I like the use of the text property to speed up entry. I use the multi select to do the same thing...

I just want to tell you that your exploration is amazing
It took me some time to understand the process but I made the template. Thank you for keeping it simple!
Thank you! your template and explanations are exactly what I needed! Just want you to know that you helped another person today!
Sarting good! first the result! nobody is doing this and is so important to see first if you match with the same tracking idea! thank you
Tu explicación ha sido increíble. He hecho mi propio "Habit Tracker" desde cero con todos tus tips y ha quedado genial!
Omg, this tutorial was sick! Thank you so much. I didn’t get how to track all my habits with notion but this literally saved me
I think I love you!!!! I'm so happy I did this 😍😍😍😍

great work, it's better to do it by ourselves than only copying your template, this way we learn a lot !!!
Amazing video, thank you so much for the template and for taking us through how to make it too! Super informative and helpful; Cheers !
Great way of explaining. I picked it up faster than from other videos! Thank you for doing this!

Thank you so much! Please try to zoom in if possible.

You are amazing. Your videos helped me save a lot of time and effort. Many thanks
Necessity is the mother of invention
Simplicity is a sister of progress
Thank you! I used it to tune up my habit tracker.
Nice work. Going to integrate this into my habit tracker. Love the views and percentage idea!

Mind-blowing!! Thanks a ton!!
Thank you so much. You really save me in creating a tracker.
Thank you so much for sharing. I had a lot of fun as I was following together with you :)

I made this. Check if this helps
if(prop("progress") < 0.2, "poor 😡", if(prop("progress") < 0.4, "weak 😢", if(prop("progress") < 0.6, "descent 🙃", if(prop("progress") < 0.8, "ok 👍", if(prop("progress") < 1, "good job 👌", "excellent ✔")))))

I typed exact formula for the date but it did not work for me :( what should I do
@@dorsaabdulrahman6350 Change date for table name you put.
if(prop("Percenttage") > 80, "😏 I'm Great", if(prop("Percentage") )
Thank you, I love this Template

Totally! You can also use the unaryPlus function. Good spot :)
@@RedGregory in fact, you can simplify a bit more using + instead of toNumber. So : +prop("Habit1") + +prop("Habit2") and so on.
Awesome as always. Do you have a thought on how to automate the first column icon/emoji selection, to avoid having to use manual template selection?
try through "status" property. u can edit them by names and colours (not just "in progress" or "done")
Amazing!!! Thank you for all the videos!!!
Thank you! Best tutorial so far

Thank you so much for the wonderful explanation!!
Very well made! I just cannot figute out the Formula and I dont know Why you have that "Zoom In"? What is the point of it?
you are very good at this.
Many thanks , I want to make a year, month, week, day planner but I don’t know how to integrate them together
Obrigado. Consegui fazer em meu Notion. Adoro seu canal no RUclips.
Thanks. I managed to do it in my Notion. I love your RUclips channel.

Thank you, get some nice ideas from you, now I just have to learn how to do a progress bar.
I loveeeeee u, u have saved my life
Any way to automatically fill the dates of the entire next month and archive the previous month?
U can create different views using filter with date, hope this helps

Damnnnn, I am a coder. I didn't know that this app was somewhat pseudo code based. My mind is exploding with infinite possibilities now :)

What if there's a habit you will do only on MWF? So you dont want to appear it on Sun,tue, thu and Sat.
this is so awesome, thank you so much 💛
