This was honestly the best game I've ever seen though, it went all over the place. So many different unexpected combos. If only he got to Yogg at the end.
That was indeed the coolest game ever. I can't believe how many Tome's you got and I DEFINITELY can't believe he turned all of those Ambushes to his advantage. That was pretty epic.
It is so much more fun not to see constant Net-Decks. Imagine the joy I felt when a hunter opponent played Sir. Finley on turn one and chose Armor Up. That never happens at higher rank.
I agree. This month is the first time I've ever really worked on "climbing the ladder". Most months I would just get to rank 20 for the card back, but now I'm rank 13, and it is absolute cancer. I mean, at rank 20+ you'd see the occasional net-deck, but now I'm seeing maybe 1 in 10 homebrew decks. It's not fun to play like this.
+DetachTheMind Indeed. Sadly the allure of net decks is very strong. Even if a person has the cards and the imagination to create a good deck of their own, many either lack the confidence or simply expect net decks to be better simply on the basis of them being net decks. Sad but true. There is nothing more boring or predictable as a Shaman who plays Tunnel Trog on turn one, or a Warlock who plays Possessed Villager.
It's always been weird to me that the only people that seem to be trying stuff are either at Rank 20 or the high teens. I guess when you have nothing to lose, might as well try something interesting...I just wish this was standard throughout Ladder rather than exclusive to the low rankings.
its easier to win with the weird decks at lower ranks, so unless every single person decided to play weird priest decks, you'd pretty much lose 100% of the time up higher
Why is it weird? People playing bad decks will naturally drop in rank that is how ladder works. The reason these decks are intresting is because they are bad and as such no one plays them. It's not that high rank or legend players don't try out new intresting stuff. Secret paladin was at somepoint probably a very intresting deck to try out but it turned out to be good and as such became a meta deck. At which point is stops being an intresting deck.
What do you mean "when you have nothing to lose"? Nobody but professional tournament players ever has anything to lose, it's a game. You don't even gain anything for winning aside from slightly more dust. That's kinda why it's so baffling to me that there are so many tryhards in this game, they grind boring decks for hours upon hours every single month and they have literally nothing to show for it.
The Message's Movies Your lack of understanding baffles me. Very clearly he means your rank. It's not very important your not losing money or your life or whatever. But some people enjoy trying to rank up. Alot of people enjoy trying to be a little competitive at a thing. You don't have to be a pro to enjoy that. Have you never once in your life thought i wanna win? I wanna do better then someone else? Have you never looked at a highscore and tried to beat it?
I've been tearing it up on Wild with my old Dreadsteed lock modified a bit, it's a lot of fun. No clue why people don't play Wild more. There is more diversity there and you can rank and get rewards just the same.
My favorite decks are high RNG Mage and Priest decks, because of the crazy games like this that can result from them. Funny enough, my best results always seem to come from a matchup of the two classes.
This is why I play wild...loads of interesting decks there. I only ever play my own decks and I'm currently rank 9 with them and see enough interesting decks of players own creation to not be annoyed about the occasional secret paladin :P
Imagine a game mode where Blizzard keeps track of the 2 most popular net decks for each class, and no more than 15 of your cards are allowed to match any of them.
I really hate how everyone makes that claim that every deck above rank 18 is a net deck, I am almost always above rank 15 in both modes (usually ending up somewhere 5-11)and I have never, nor will I ever have a net deck (or one of the pre-made decks from Blizzard for that matter) in my collection. It is reprehensible and insulting to think this lie.
who said I was good? My argument was that every "expert" (see I can exaggerate too) claims that everyone uses net decks above a certain rank (hell I have heard experts say it is all net decks above rank 25, ie you have to steal other people's work to even win a single game in Hearthstone). Also Expand Dog, no 5- 11 is not great, but I don't play enough most months to even get to legend if I had a 70% win rate deck. There is no point in wasting my time and getting outraged at all the anooying little 5 year olds that populate HS.. Every other person you play uses the emote system to insult their opponent.
Hear hear. You just get no sense of accomplishment by winning with net decks, because it's not really you who's winning. It's Trump. Or you know, whoever made aggro Shaman.
Just came from stealth 17 WGRD Vid. to here, and oh hello ;) I always play my own Decks, never gonna progress over Rank 10, but with enough time and aggressive Decks, I probably could. Just don't like to see Hearthstone as a competitive Game, I prefer playing Reno-Mistcaller-Yogg-C'Thun-N'zoth Shaman, fuck the Meta!!
To my all the fun in Hearthstone comes from winning so I'm not ashamed of playong only tier 1 decks, because that's what I love to most in Hearthstone. To destroy the opponent
Keigan McHugh Well if I like winning should I play my OWN version of Shaman, Hunter, Warlock, Warrior which is close to the popular decks, or should I play some scrubby Deck with a lower winrate?
I was rank 25 on wild so I made a reno deck with ancient harbringer blood of the ancient feathering Dragonlord emperor thaurissan and such. I didn't lose a game till rank 17.
Rank 19-18 is like some weird different dimension when it comes to the decks you see in it. every different regions the same too. Always rank 19-18, you see the craziest shit, you`ll be in rank 20 playing against generally ok decks, then enter the void at 19 and be the wtf is this? Kripp you should go deeper into this new hybrid shaman Deck this seems to be Meta defining to me. So far I have crushed various tier one decks with this sick shit :D
But kripp if you like to play fun decks in constructive why dont you. Ranked shouldnt matter. If you like to play it, play it. I always try your decks and it brings joy to my game. Do what you like!
What Kripp is saying at the and is wrong. The more spells you played the more likely it is that someone dies, but Yogg stops casting spells if one player dies. A 60 spell yogg wouldn't have made a tie more likely either.
Well, yes and no. The more spells that are cast, the more likely it is that the exact spell order that ends in a tie happens, IE fireball to kripp's face into hellfire. who needs malchezaar when you get 6 legends out of ambushes XD
WHAT!!! How dare you say that! I am Triggered, where is Triggerino Kripperino when I need him.
+Prince Malchezaarino Kripperino Back to your home, Kripperino!
+Chris Lewis "YOU'RE COMING WITH ME!"
-Salty Malchezaarino, 2016.
LOrdIUs IaN Neverlucky BabyRage
The elo where OTK Magma Rager Warrior works
Don't miss RIP Bloodfen Raptor in your description, mate
o shit you finally got a kripperiono facerinno!
elo? In Hearthstone? So you're implying that this game requires skill?
Every priest runs 2x ice blocks these days, such a grind
Kripp always says "I played the best game ever" like every 2-3 months.
+Flyingfox I have no idea how he hasn't gone insane yet. I can't even play that game for 2 hours without getting burnout.
I can hold out for roughly 2 - 3 games. You got some real tenacity.
+Aikionen i can hold out for 15 with aggro shaman
+Aikionen yeah same, half of the time I camt even finish the dailies before im just competely burnt out of the game for the next week
This was honestly the best game I've ever seen though, it went all over the place. So many different unexpected combos. If only he got to Yogg at the end.
Can confirm: play homebrew decks: rank 18
No regrets
Yup :)
i got to 16 with my priest :D
and I get legend with control hunter.. You must be doing SOMETHING wrong.
Neil Farwoods hunter has usable cards, like CoW
Damien Weyrauch Yup.
Kripp come back to wow
Where's my invite?
Maybe he's not interested because there aren't any giraffes
+Prince Malchezaarino Kripperino ahahahahahahahahahah fucking hell
+Ranger Raffe actually there are...
he went back to wow recently and then quit again
last time i was this early i won the game for my hero
It's important for minions to have great amounts of health, just like giraffes
+starcraftzocker53 agree.
Zombie Chowerino Kripperino i love you bro, we should be in the same deck
Ironbeakowlrino Kripperino Hell yeah
Thank you Kripp for sharing this game, it was a lot of fun to watch!
People don't play me on Low Ranks cause that can't afford my ass
Same here bro. I am coming week 4. I feel you.
Would you mind double checking the phrasing of that comment?
I am Majordomo what do ya except from me
How am i supposed to afford you? I'm a giraffe and money is very hard for me to come by.
MajordomorinoKripperino Do you not wish to represent Rag in the most professional manner possible?
That was indeed the coolest game ever. I can't believe how many Tome's you got and I DEFINITELY can't believe he turned all of those Ambushes to his advantage. That was pretty epic.
It is so much more fun not to see constant Net-Decks.

I am that guy :)

***** Sure. It amazes me when I see Legend rank players playing the Agro Shaman deck, though. Aside from quests, what is the point...
I do that shit all the time from like rank 12 to 9
I'd like to see more Krip videos of him showing what he's thinking tbh it was pretty cool how much he can go through in a couple seconds.
10:20 Kripp about Shatter :
"That's the first time in history that card has been cold".
1:18
Damn you fast bro!
I hadn't even got the notification yet. I applaud you!
Wow, you're fast! But are you as fast as a Giraffe?
Are you actually Kripp?
It's not the best game... The best one was that hunter who became Jarraxus and got rekt by topdeck with Nefarian into sac pact.
It's always been weird to me that the only people that seem to be trying stuff are either at Rank 20 or the high teens. I guess when you have nothing to lose, might as well try something interesting...I just wish this was standard throughout Ladder rather than exclusive to the low rankings.

I try most of my experiments at rank8, for a more accurate experience

Your lack of understanding baffles me.
What about 6 mana 2/3 deal 2 damage to ALL minions?
ALL NON MURLOC minions.
no.
In the current meta the only reason to run a Murloc would be Anyfin Pally, so it's pretty much a 2 damage to all minions in the state the game is.
Change your name first, to corupterino seerino maybe
+Arch-Thief Rafaam it would have to be Corrupted Seerino Kripperino.
The amount of times I've heard kripp say he has "played one of the best and most amazing games" is starting to really add up.
i have an idea for a card. (dexerino) for every belly rubby given gain 6 armor
Meow... Belly Rubby Cat is better 👊😺
This card wouldn't work because my hooves can't belly rub
+Master Bait FeelsBadMan ...
Listening to Krip I now feel very special now sitting at rank 13 with a deck I completely designed myself.
I've been tearing it up on Wild with my old Dreadsteed lock modified a bit, it's a lot of fun. No clue why people don't play Wild more. There is more diversity there and you can rank and get rewards just the same.
that was actually an amazing game to watch. If HS was normally like this id play WAY more.

I was so hyped to see that match end with a 28 spell yogg... God damnit
Holy shit that game went all over the place, I can seen why it's one of your favourites. Awesome game to watch.
4:20 Real Hearthstone players know that rank 20 is the toughest rank. It's full of wallet warriors farming noobs for 500 wins
Usually I just see only priest. it's kinda sad
no wonder I can't get to rank18
Rank 420 on the other hand...
ranger but iam legend 5 with priest :(
+Mohammed .b Not even rank 1 Legend LUL
"Nooo! The 6 Nerubians became legendary!" This made me lol
Awesome game!! Really enjoyed it, thank you for the giggles^^
13:10, there is no longer tying, yogg ends whenever one player dies, (unless both players die at the same time to AOE)
I started having fun again as a priest when I reintroduced thoughtsteal into my decks recently
"If you put your heart into the game.. And are rank 20 any deck is viable" - Ben Brode Jr.
0:04 Watch Kripp fuckers. Sorry for not staying with you guys but my PC is DEAD.
No one cares about you anyway lmao
Kripp, you of all people should know that when you believe in your deck and rank 20 any meta is possible!
And that is why you never give up on a fight. You never know if RNG will save you or if your opponent will fuck up.
Where Is My Favorite Kripperino... Boogymonsterino Kripperino??? FeelsBadMan 7
The only magic and creativity is that you may encounter priests and maybe even can win as a priest.
1:25 A rare PREeeTTYYYY Gooooooddd
No Skipperino Kripperino!!!!
10:25 a FIRE lord gets frozen shattered.
Wtf.
yea and a 2/1 snake kills deathwing, you triggered?
Dat poison is real deadly dude.
+Lucas Gaytan And yet ACTUAL deadly poison only adds 2 damage FailFish
dat ice is real cold dude.
For my year and a half Hearthstone life, I haven't looked for a deck online
Imagine a game mode where Blizzard keeps track of the 2 most popular net decks for each class, and no more than 15 of your cards are allowed to match any of them.
Ahh the good old days when no one knew what any one else was going to play.... or was that Arena
Best game i have ever seen
Why do you use a shameful profile picture you weirdo. It's not cool at all.
its a prank! ITS A PRANK!
+Angels Rock ?
+Angels Rock Is it a joke cause you like angels and he has a satanic symbol?
HamsterKiller lol
00:09 yeah as always
Best rank to play at, at that rank people have decks they made themselves
3:48 "People play Ice block on rank 19?"
You have no idea Kripp
my Eater is thankful and fat because of that...
All that buildup for the Yog all game. Then he denies it.
he said "if he gives him an opportunity to" and only mentioned yogg at the last few times.
Rank 20 is the best rank. Not like I only got to legend with secret paladin so I don't really know what it's like nowadays.
That guy was actually running Shatter in his deck though
There is no such thing as a bad deck as long as you believe in the power of your cards and rank 20
It is reprehensible and insulting to think this lie.
wow bro you're so awesome
Yeah but who said 5-11 was good? Like conceptually you can't reach legend with those decks
but 90% of the people do that so congrats youre not one of them.I also prefer building my own decks
who said I was good? My argument was that every "expert" (see I can exaggerate too) claims that everyone uses net decks above a certain rank (hell I have heard experts say it is all net decks above rank 25, ie you have to steal other people's work to even win a single game in Hearthstone). Yea pretty much the same way i feel xD
And that's what Hearthstone can be without everyone playing fucking cancer decks. But as everyone is, I still won't touch it even with a 50yard stick.
Hear hear. You just get no sense of accomplishment by winning with net decks, because it's not really you who's winning. It's Trump. Or you know, whoever made aggro Shaman.
Just came from stealth 17 WGRD Vid. to here, and oh hello ;)

Xandalf Reimann Reno-Mistcaller-Yogg-C'Thun-N'zoth Shaman...? I can't tell if you're crazy or a genius.
40 mana 8/8 for each damage you deal with spells reduce the cost (can be a class card or a giant or both)
12:17 "After I proc his block" sounds kinky
Today we find the kripp at his natural habitat at rank 19
holy shit that game was a roller coaster of emotions wtf
To my all the fun in Hearthstone comes from winning so I'm not ashamed of playong only tier 1 decks, because that's what I love to most in Hearthstone. To destroy the opponent
*me
Attention we have shaman here
NO! That's not cool, please make sure to lose one game for each you win so everybody has a 50% winrate, or don't you believe everyone is equal?
lol then play in solo adventure scrub. if you cant win without a net deck then your just a nub.
Keigan McHugh Well if I like winning should I play my OWN version of Shaman, Hunter, Warlock, Warrior which is close to the popular decks, or should I play some scrubby Deck with a lower winrate?
Krippy Potter and the Chamber of Netdecking
There is no rank high enough to see me
So what we learned here today, is that all priest has to do to be good is have cards from other classes
I was rank 25 on wild so I made a reno deck with ancient harbringer blood of the ancient feathering Dragonlord emperor thaurissan and such. I didn't lose a game till rank 17.
Priest of the Feast is underrated imo
9 mage spells plus 1 paladin spell = best priest ever
damn how often do your videos start with "today i wanna present to you one of the most amazing games ive played in hearthstone :-]"
i have never laugh so much in a hearthstone video
I'm making this deck. I have 28/30 of these cards! Lacking yogg and sylvanas, of course.
Control Warrior wrecks this Meta...even at higher ranks. I still see plenty of Control decks much higher than "18-20"
"best, coolest and most amazing"
Rank 19-18 is like some weird different dimension when it comes to the decks you see in it. every different regions the same too. Always rank 19-18, you see the craziest shit, you`ll be in rank 20 playing against generally ok decks, then enter the void at 19 and be the wtf is this? Then rank 17 and back to normallity and you wonder what just happened.
Yogg switched sides so he could put 6 legendaries in the mage's deck. Always trust in Yogg.
kripp what do you mean! I made my personal OTK build and it worked! I climbed till 7
Have he tried Magic: The Gathering? Would be cool to see a comparison/vs. on the two.
Tong Zou Yeah thats true. There is a Magic game on Steam that I know of. No idea if this functions just like hearthstone, both in popularity and quality.
He was a former mtg player
the gameplays are way too different for a comparison
Tong Zou ok cool : p TIL haha. Ive been considering to start play MTG myself, but just havent gotten myself to buy the booster packs yet.
Don't buy booster packs. Just look up cards online, construct a decklist, then buy the required singles. packs are normally a waste of money if your trying to build a deck. I've played magic for a while now and I believe that it is fundamentally a better game than hearthstone, although that would change if blizzard started balancing better and releasing more cards with innovative abilities. The only problem with magic is that it costs so much and it doesn't have quite so much personality as hearthstone does.
I'm on the hunt for any Kripperinos, help is greatly appriceated
Did you see Hoggerino Kripperino?
Unfortunately no, That one's a clever little gnoll.
Unfortunately for him, I don't give up on finding elusive Kripperinos
"If you have faith and are rank 20 - every deck is viable!"
Everyone with their stupid aggro shamans in high ranks, what's the fun in that? Just play a fundeck with me
Turns out Priest is pretty good if you have lots of Mage spells.
Kripp you should go deeper into this new hybrid shaman Deck this seems to be Meta defining to me. So far I have crushed various tier one decks with this sick shit :D
that game was insane LOL
i didnt know yog could switch nored like that craazy
Did you say check out the Clit?
But kripp if you like to play fun decks in constructive why dont you. Ranked shouldnt matter. If you like to play it, play it. I always try your decks and it brings joy to my game. Do what you like!
Kripp, I think you may have over sold that game.
7:41 Blesserino Kripperino
I mean... Kibler was playing nearly this same list at rank 5 and doing OK.
Cabalist priest? Is this the deck Ben brode was talking about?
I actually made a similar deck, minus a circle, 2 doomsayer,2 pyro, added 2 blade master, mindgame and another ressurect
He runs two resurrects in this deck
Chris Lewis
oh
you also see quite some inovative stuff at legend
WHAT IS HAPPENING!? There's so much shit going on in this match, lol
THAT is what hearthstone is supposed to be.
How he always know the number of spells he played?
Kripp , when was the last time you played on a serious match ? I am not trying to imply anything , I just don't remember it.
Did anyone do a Yogg simulator of that last turn? I.e Kripp's turn if the mage passed instead of using his hero power on his face
Fun and innovative decks aka cobbled together wonky thingamajigs.
There should be a format where you can't play all the boring agro decks.
This is the shittest idea i think ive ever read
Nazy spotted
you had a good idea and you ruined it.
Spamming F5 finally pays off
IF YOU PUT YOUR HEART INTO THE GAME AND ARE RANK 20, ALL DECKS CAN BE VIABLE
What Kripp is saying at the and is wrong. The more spells you played the more likely it is that someone dies, but Yogg stops casting spells if one player dies. A 60 spell yogg wouldn't have made a tie more likely either.
no it only stopps imidatelly when you die not the opponent
+Perrin Ay'bara untrue, it stops if the opponent dies.
Well, yes and no. The more spells that are cast, the more likely it is that the exact spell order that ends in a tie happens, IE fireball to kripp's face into hellfire. There are a few ways that Yogg could make that a tie, incidentally. I gave one example, but there are a lot of two card combinations that would work.
Chris Lewis But it is way more likely that only one player dies and this isn't affected by the number of spells. Kripp though claimed the opposite.
+Keine Ahnung
It changed during patches, sometime it would continue after killing your opponent sometime it would not (right now it does not ^^)
5:34 at 1.5 speed, you're welcome
there should be a format of cards that are not mainstream. Call it spare or untouched
That was amazing :D
