Pikmin 3 Hack: Sandbelching Meerslug in a Bingo Battle arena

Took me a bit to understand which objects I need for him to work but it worked out in the end! The game sort of lagged while fighting him but I enjoyed the fight.

Figures it would crash. Maybe if we learn more about cutscenes we can blank-out this cutscene to avoid issue? Or, knowing Pikmin 3, we might actually need to *add* this cutscene to the resources of the stage.

Interesting, so the normal boss area already has a giant hole in it, the sand is just moving around the sandbelching meerslug

Yep! I did check the files and it is just a big hole in the ground. Already planning to do a small video on what happens if I remove the sand from the arena if the ground there is solid to walk in

This is a really cool idea you should get the sanbleching meerslug in its arena and then have treasures scattered around the arena so when you try and take a treasure back all of a sudden there’s a hole under your treasure also maybe make the sandbleching meerslug have infinite health to avoid killing it and making the game crash

That would be nice but the problem is that is there must be a huge hole in the ground for that to work and since they can't change the ground, he can't suck any pikmin in the hole from the land covering him up

How come the Sandbelching Meerslug only spat sand and never tried eating Pikmin? Just curious.

When he used that attack to move the sand down, he only moves the sand down and nothing else. Because that his arena is just a huge hole for the sand and his attacks and since there is no hole for him to attack in, he just goes under the map to try to eat pikmin but can't
